Chosen Solution When I went to rebuild my 8700 I forgot to change the boot sequence to CD/DVD. so thinking I could take and put the Data cable in the 0 port then the SSD Data cable in 1 I should be able to get into the system, But no good I’ve tried all combinations. I even put the old video card in no good tried another from a xps 8700 no good....

Chosen Solution I changed my dying battery with one from ifixit. After putting in the new battery I reset the PRAM and SMC and turned the laptop on. From then on, the fans blew at full power constantly and kernel task was crippling the CPU. Diagnostics showed error PFM007 - there may be an issue with the SMC. The old battery was destroyed during removal, so I couldn’t try putting it back in....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5C that won’t charge. I have just replaced the battery, to see if this would be enough to get it to boot. It doesn’t. I would have expected the battery to have some charge, so this rules out an issue with the lightning bolt charging port … or does it? What should I try next? Battery replacements usually come with barely any charge in them, so if you had it for very long before doing the repair (as opposed to fixing it the same day you got it in the mail) you might not be able to rule out the charge port flex cable....

There should be 7 backlight CCFL tubes for your LCD screen so the top one may have gone bad or it is the inverter that is failing....
Chosen Solution Hello, So it all started with the butterfly keyboard issue. After it was successfully repaired, my touch bar was broken. The issue is that it does not respond to touch. It is responding very well to to software change, and the lights are working perfectly well. basically the only thing not working is the touch (fingerprint working fine). Another thing to note, is that i can’t find the “Touch Bar Agent” in the activity monitor (touchbarserver and control strip are there)....
Chosen Solution Hi. One day my rear and front camera decided to get the dreaded black screen. I replaced the front camera assembly and still the same , I disconnected the rear camera and everything started working with the selfie camera, thinking it was the rear camera at fault I got a new rear camera and installed it, then the phone wouldn’t turn on at all. I removed the new camera and the phone started working again without any rear camera installed, I put the old rear camera back in and now the selfie front camera and rear are black screened , I can only get the front to work with the rear camera disconnected....
Chosen Solution I have a S20 FE model: SM-G780G that was completly smashed. Replaced the Display + frame, moved over all small components from old frame to new one. Put in a new battery and a new back cover. Boot up the phone and do the diagnostic via #0#. Everything works except the rear main camera. There are some big spots on the sensor but the camera works.
