I was wondering if its possible to just swap the motherboard to a sacrificial 5S (one with iCloud lock) You definitely can swap your working logic board from the broken housing to the icloud locked better looking case....
Chosen Solution 2002 Toyota Camry CSI The clutch when engaged or disengage with the purpl The clutch does not drive the car forward and is not over reving & no clutch plate smell is coming from the gear box and I was wondering is it the slave cylinder buggered, or is the clutch that is needing replacing. @timothymoad ,Timothy, Look to see if the pin from the clutch fork to the slave cylinder is sitting somewhat loose/has a little movement(not extended) when clutch peddle is not pushed, if some what free/movement then the slave is not stuck on and would suggest the problem lays further in the system....

Chosen Solution Was cleaning out fan and this piece fell out not sure from where That piece goes between the USB port section and the fan when the fan is installed. That part is optional and would not cause the 3 beep problem. Is it 3 long beeps or is it like you turn it on, you hear the 3rd beep slowly after 15 seconds. Most likely a thermal contact issue....

I have switched on again with the laptop connected to the mains and been pressing F12 and got the boot menu. It’s on Windows 10. There’s the list of HDD/SSD, USB, ODD, LAN. And below ENTER SET UP . Chosen Solution You could as well try a new cable and do like Duane suggested: connect it to the board before replacing it, and try to see if it works properly. Then replace it. You probably have a damaged or defective power/mute/volume cable because Volume Up/Down functions on the board have a different circuit from the Power On/Off circuit - UNLESS you have a damaged connector where those 2 functions meet; that would be the connector that connects the cable to the logic board; Or that connector is dirty (clean it with a cotton swab dipped in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol); Or the cable is not seated properly: disconnect then reseat the cable....

Chosen Solution how can i replace and identify powering ic? @dubylot there is the question of why would you want to replace it. Unless you have the schematic and dealt with the circuitry I would be hesitant to just go ahead and replace it. Now if you did some proper troubleshooting, you will need to let us know the exact model for your motherboard for identification of the IC.

Chosen Solution Right clicker does not work occasionally. Check Hardware Issue. If you encounter the issue mouse right-click not working, you can plug your mouse into a different USB port first and check whether the issue of right click not working is solved. I used all methods like info-menu-mute-power, mute-1-8-2-power ect.. but there is no result. I can’t reset TV with this options. pl. help Nayan Joshi does the screen come on and does the TV actually start fully up? Unplug your TV. Remove the battery from the remote. Disconnect all inputs and soundbar etc....

The guide was great, took no time to replace and while I was at it I added a second drive (256gb Solid state with the cable purchased from iFixit).
