Chosen Solution I had originally cracked my iPad Air 1 screen, bought a replacement (home button included) online and put on it. Everything was working fine at that point. However when I was sealing it up I stupidly/accidentally tore one of the digitizer ribbons. I had a back up screen, where I would just have to transfer the home button, so I put that one on. However when I try and turn the iPad on to test it it won’t turn on, just a black screen....

Chosen Solution I have a 1.8GHz A1150 that has a dead display. I have a 2.2GHz A1226 with everything dead except for the display. Can I put the A1226 display onto the A1150? It looks like the isight and inverter connectors are different, but the display data cable looks the same. I guess it wouldn’t be a straight swap, but maybe I’d have to open the display itself? Unfortunately, you cannot swap these LCDs....

Chosen Solution so after the replacement, screen comes up with home screen, duplicate icons and the “Slide to unlock message”. The icons are not responding, the slide to unlock is intermittently responsive and takes me to the Enter Passcode screen. Passcode screen accepts input (don’t know code so not going all the way into device). iPad mini replacement screens have a long history of ghost touching. Higher quality parts have tape covering the lower portion of the “copper” traces around the digitizer (on the backside…or the part facing the LCD)....

Chosen Solution After doing my homework, it would appear that the control panel on my 8-year-old GE Profile Dishwasher PDW9280J00SS has gone out. The dishwasher seemed to stop mid-cycle so there’s water in the bottom and no response from the control panel. I checked the air gap to see if it was clogged. It wasn’t. I checked the circuit breaker… it was fine (although I reset it just to be sure)....

Chosen Solution Sears riding mower emits blue/white smoke starting two days ago. Added Lucas oil leak additive after using Lucas engine clean and still smokes. I had Sears tune up last summer with new oil, air, fuel filter and oil change. Hi @pface According to this video of your mobile tablet, the micro SIM card just plugs straight into the sim card socket. Start viewing from about 1:23 minutes into the video. Either try your sim card in another network compatible device to prove that it is OK or try another known working, network compatible micro sim card in your device to verify that it works OK there....

Chosen Solution There is a ribbon cable running from the logic board to the Display which has snapped in my laptop. I am after a replacement and would like to know exactly what the cable is if anybody can help me out and possibly suggest where i can get the component that would be much appreciated. It is part of the keyboard backlight (light for the keyboard), so you will have to remove the logic board and remove the black cover on the back of the keyboard to replace this....

Chosen Solution Over the weekend, both the right shift key and right control key have stopped working. I can fully press both keys without any obstruction, but they do not register any input Try typing into a different program to check if the keys are not working. If keys still don’t work, turn off the laptop, remove the battery and unplug it, press and hold the start button for 60 seconds, then place the battery back in and turn the laptop on....

Chosen Solution Ok, I think I made a big mistake here. I purchased ram for my MBP mid 2012 but the top slot didnt go in properly. I have tried to take it out but the back of the ram is pressed against the metal behind the ram slot. Don’t do ram upgrades when tired. I don’t even think its in the slot, it’s just above it. Chosen Solution Telescopic lens will not retract when camera is turned on or off. The entire telescopic lens stays extended. Error message says “Lens error. Try again after turning the camera off and on”. I have tried to remove the battery, memory stick, turned on off multiple times. Chosen Solution Every Xbox 360 I have ever come into contact with has a very distinct rattling noise . It sounds like a screw or spring is rattling back and forth, but doesn’t have any adverse effects on the performance of the console. I have isolated it to something on the logic board, and I am sure that there is nothing “floating” around the inside of the console. Chosen Solution Hi there! My Viera stopped working, blocked on the panasonic screen and kept rebooting. I’ve put an update on a fat formated USB stick and shoved it in It’s back. Fine enough, is working now but it won’t connect to the wireless and has no sound. I’ve tried all the setting, restored to default, even restored everything to factory settings. If I plug the headphones it puts out the sound but that is about it....

Chosen Solution I think there’s a hole in my vacuum hose, how do I find it? Take the hose off and tape one end up, fill it with water. Fill the tub and dunk it in pull it out… If it leaks, you got a hole. Completely dry before using it as it has electrical wiring in it.. basically the ends need to be completely dry.. if the hose is not damaged, if I remember the ribbing on the hose is the electrical wiring....

Chosen Solution So I bought an LCD cover and Screen. I have four cords or cables that I do not know how to connect. Can someone show me where they go? On my new LCD cover, there are these two new cables and on my laptop, there are two old chords that are connected from either the fan or system hardware that was connected to the old LCD cover. Chosen Solution So I’ve replaced a few different parts so far on my iPhone 5c. The first being a simple screen replacement. Then later the wifi antenna went out along with the vibrate motor (or so I thought the vibrate motor). I replace both the wifi antenna (which now works perfectly) and the vibrate motor…however it still won’t vibrate. The old motor or new one…both don’t work. What else can be preventing it from vibrating?...
