Chosen Solution Spark plug blew out of engine. Top part of spark plug and tighting nut on plug, with just small rod at lower end, no ceramic. Now what. Is it possible to run on 7? It’s possible, but not recommended. You engine will misfire and can stall every now and then with out that spark plug. If the plug isn’t stuck in the socket, you should run to an auto store and purchase a new spark plug asap....

Chosen Solution When it’s running - everything seems fine, but my Mac Pro takes an age to do the self test, sometimes it doesn’t start at all after 10 - 15 minutes. Sometimes there will be a long wait - followed by the case fan ramping up to full RPM (alarming) then the start up chime and a normal boot. I’ve stripped the mac down removing all third party bits, replaced updated graphics card with the original, tried the stock ram (completely different set), disconnected all hard drives and PCIe cards....

Once you remove the case, you can see the pin that holds the battery door in place. Make note of how the spring attaches, take pictures :-) remove the pin with a paper clip or other small instrument and replace the door....

What I’ve done on these for mine and my dad’s when they inevitably broke (we didn’t use them for photos) is took the trays apart, threw the 4x6 inserts out, and “fixed” it for free....
