Chosen Solution hi, my laptop -lenovo z5070- was dropped from a chair into the ground, after that there is two problems. ‘‘‘first problem ..the screen brightness is flickering once i touch the laptop ‘‘‘when i touch the laptop the screen brightness goes ok,,another touch the brightness goes little bright,another touch goes ok ,and so on second problem.. screen from the bottom “at task bar in windows exactly” had some dark areas notice that the screen is not broken....

Chosen Solution Hi all, I have a Macbook A1181 which starts up okay but after about 10 seconds (just after the apple logo appears on the grey background)the screen goes dim. I can see the picture faintly on the screen and if I turn the screen brightness right down and then back up the screen is lit but then goes dim again. I’ve changed the inverter and the problem persists. Is there a sensor or switch that may be at fault or could the screen be at fault?...

Chosen Solution What is the range to fix this type of issue(s)?The machine washes great just seems so loud at the spin cycle… The unit is a GE Profile top loader and is 6 or 7 years old but is at a Vacation 2nd home so it’s used sporadically. A washer making a loud noise during spin cycle can also be caused by a faulty drive pulley. The pulley is what the belt (if applicable to your washer) rides on to spin your washers tub....

First I would take a look at the earpiece speaker grill, the mesh you can see in the cutout of the screen. It may be very dirty with lint and dust causing less sound to get through....

Chosen Solution If I don’t tighten this screw all the way, would that prevent the SIM card from being read? I fixed the charging issue but now my phone says no SIM card installed. I’m not sure what to troubleshoot first. Your link points to Step 28 of the guide and there is no screw mentioned. You may want to update that so that we can understand which screw you are talking about....

Chosen Solution Sim tray will not go into slot all the way. There isn’t a whole lot to the sim card assembly. Make sure the sim card is seated right, there is a notch to make lining it up easier and make sure you are putting the tray in the correct way. The only thing that I can think of that could get damaged is the SIM eject lever inside the phone but I have no idea how that could get damaged, short of jamming a paperclip like 2 inches into the phone....

Chosen Solution I’ve searched the internet and I can’t find the digitizer by itself to purchase. I cracked my glass but the actual screen below is fine, I just need the glass digitizer but I can’t find it anywhere. Do they not sell it anywhere by itself? Digitizer and LCD screen are bonded by OCA on iPad Pro 11, even if you manage to buy the digitizer by itself - you won’t be able to use it as you need special equipment to separate glass from LCD, remove adhesive residue, and install bought digitizer onto the screen with new OCA adhesive....

If yes, is the noise apparent in all the phones? If only in the one phone, then there is a problem with that phone. If the noise in heard in all the phones (or even if you have only the one phone), you first need to prove if the problem is in the phone line, in the phone line socket, in the Uniden base station or phone in the case of only one phone connected, (or perhaps coming from some other equipment tied to the phone line in the premises, if this is applicable)....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have 2 white MacBooks. Very nice outside looking condition ICD(mid2006)and a ugly outside looking IC2D (mid2007). Both work fine. I would like to keep the Display and housing of the ICD and install the all good components of the IC2D into it. Short way to put it; Good looking outside with the better interior! Will this work? Have you tried inserting a pair of earphones into the earphone socket first to verify that you can still hear OK and then to check that if you remove them from the socket that the headphone socket icon disappears from the screen and the phone returns to its normal audio mode?...

Chosen Solution Day before yesterday every time I plug in the charger orange light turns on for little while then it turn it self off, now since yesterday my PSP Go doesn’t charge, NO orange light and I can’t turn it on. Unfortunately, the RAM is integrated into the logic board and cannot be upgraded or replaced. We talk about this issue in Step 13 of our teardown. Same to me. Apple BMA is made from intel. I was PC guy and know about AMD motherboard which is CPU should stay on like flat....

My friend said that hers (mid 2011 2.5ghz) always chimes 3X on startup, and I resolved that issue when I installed a new 1TB SSD, but when I used her most recent time machine backup (high Sierra) from 2019, the issue remained. I also switched out the ram with some compatible ram I had laying around and that helped somewhat. I tried erasing SSD and using her oldest time machine restore from 2017, and that worked for like half an hour, enough time for me to remove the 3GB of crap from the desktop and place in her documents folder and then zap the PRAM & reset the SMC, but then it got back to the restart cycle boot, where every time there was power to it, it would recycle the startup....

Importers of audio gear into Australia change brands on a frequent basis and are often unwilling to stock spare parts for models they didn’t import themselves. Emails to Denon in Japan asking about this have not been answered. What is my next move?...

Chosen Solution Hello, Has anybody ever replaced the (25) capacitors instead of the whole logicboard? Looking for a brief guide as how to do so. I have done some electronics soldering but would appreciate further guidance, especially on how to remove the capacitors and any rule of thumb/trics/ I’ve done two. One success and one failure. Cost per set was $36. These are not easy boards to work on. Getting the capacitors out is a bugger....

Chosen Solution While taking apart a Samsung S3 T999 to repair a power button switch I noticed that it had 4 solder pads with traces coming from the switch. Upon further inspection, I realized it was missing either a resistor or diode on two of the pads. I was wondering if someone could help identify the part and its value so that I may replace it. Chosen Solution Quite a while ago I bought a screen replacement online and put it together after my phone was damaged with water, everything seemed fine, no buggy issues no lines all good. About half way through the day my phone starts to get a bit hot then out of no where the screen shuts off, there wasn’t any animations it just went black. I have tried restarting it and everything else I can think I just have no idea what to do, when I turn it on the screen doesn’t turn on however I can feel vibrations when I type my password in and I’m pretty sure the phone its self still works....
