Chosen Solution is it possible to take the entire screen from a 2009 MBP 17" and put it on the body of a 2011? Not sure if there will be compatiblity issues or not. The raw LCD screens (glossy) is the same, but the assembly is not. The anti-glare screens also have a different frame so you can’t swap between the raw LCD’s. The cameras also use a different connection between them as well....

Chosen Solution Ok so long story short, the iphone got wet. They had changed the battery not long before but it seems they didn’t apply the glue well so it was cleaned inside and out. The first thing to go was the vibration motor, so i turned off, opened it and started the fix . i changed the taptic motor, lcd, and flex charge port. Chosen Solution All my pictures have a purple haze covering them. The details of the photo are present but the color is shifted to purple. All the other functions of the camera work. I tried resetting and changed all the obvious settings. I read somewhere that the sensor was probably the problem and that a cheaper one had been used in the D50 that was subject to humidity. I put the camera under a lamp to possibly dry it out( it was very humid in NJ at the time), and when I took it out it worked normally for a day and then returned to purple....

Chosen Solution I’d take the 15 dollars and get a new one. Once there is damage of any sort, youll have problems. I understand your logic, but unfortunately I dont think anything fix the issue. It seems to me the digitizer was damaged and thats what reconginizes when you touch the display. I would get a new one

Chosen Solution I just replaced a broken digitizer/screen for a friend on his 3GS and now when I close up shop and try to charge the phone, it shorts out/overloads the charger. On a PC, it pops up that the USB Power has been exceeded, and on a wall charger it goes into overcurrent mode. This does not occur if I plug the charger in with the screen connected (connectors 1, 2 and 3) but not closed up (screen just hanging there)....

Chosen Solution As the title says, I have replaced my screen on my iPhone 6. Originally I was replacing the flex antenna behind the logic board. While following the instructions on the guid, I lifted the screen like a hinge and it cracked in the top right corner. With my grumbles aside, I ordered a replacement screen which I was able to replace with ease. The problem however is that even on max brightness, the screen is not that bright....

Chosen Solution Is it a resistant or a loop that is right over the battery connection? That is the filter on the gas gauge line. Yes, it definitely needs to be there. You could short it out to see if that solves the problem but ideally the part should be replaced. This is a very tiny component and difficult to solder unless you have good tools or lots of experience. Ideally, you should look for a shop that can do micro-soldering repairs....

Chosen Solution My mid-2009 MacBook Pro was getting slow with its 750 GB hard disk, so I decided to upgrade to a San Disk X400 1TB SSD. I formatted the disk using a Sata to USB cable, clean installed Mavericks and used migration assistant to transfer my files. I can boot the laptop from the drive just fine using the USB cable. Chosen Solution Screen Was Loose And Failed Out What To Do ? And It’s Just The Screen Not The Full Display You can either try and glue the screen back together with a strip of adhesive or you’ll have to replace the entire display assembly. Gluing it back is a temporary fix and won’t look neat.
