Some chains never need changed unless they exhibit chain noise(conspicuous on a cold engine and does not completely go away when engine warm). If timing check showed that the engine timing was being thrown off by the slack/wear in the chain, more then 5 degrees slack would indicate wear and time to change....

You have to remove the unit from the dash so that it can be opened and the radio tested as to what the problem actually is....

Chosen Solution Hello I accidentally ripped the microphone ribbon cable from the motherboard, is it possible to fix this or am I going to have a non working microphone forever? Well, the good news is this is repairable! You pulled the socket off the logic board! The ribbon cable looks OK its just still in the socket. This is a tricky repair! First you’ll need a new connector and you need a small nozzle hot air rework system to first clean up the solder pads as you still have the connectors solder pins still on the pads and then mount the new connector....

So it begins to boot up but i was all ready to go and very impatient so i flipped the switch on the PSU while the windows logo was on the screen.
