Chosen Solution How can we get tokens out that are rattling inside this till muriel_sandham , turn it upside down and give it a few quick shakes the moderately bang it on a counter while still upside down then quickly turn it over and see if they will dump out the side slot, while slightly on it’s side depress the keys. Chosen Solution Installed new screen/digitizer and the top and bottom 1 to 1.5 inches of the screen is non-responsive. Only very small sections of the original screen were responsive since it was very damaged. Was wondering the likely hood that the reason that it is not working correctly is a defective digitizer or is the controller bad. Any way to test these components to determine next course of action. Chosen Solution This Mbp for reasons beyond my current understanding suddenly quits a given application and goes to login screen. There I can log back in, but these unscheduled semi shut down are not right. It is reminds me of a kernel panic, only that it does not shut down all the way, but just goes to login screen… It was also revving fans, but that I fixed with fresh Arctic Thermal paste MX2, and it is much happier in that department now…Also I removed “clean my mac” and shut off some other plug-ins I suspected to be troublesome , such as Dashlane, which seemed to take a lot of resources in Activity monitor....

Chosen Solution I got a replacement screen from a reputable seller and it was installed perfectly. When the phone was first turned on (just by plugging in the charger) it was displaying the charging icon (dimly) for a second then the display would die with no further display even after pressing all the buttons, I pulled out the charger and plugged it back in and it did the same thing. Now after a few more times it’s just a black screen....

Chosen Solution Hi, last night i’ve been playing my classic xbox for like a 30min and turned it off. Everything was working fine. I woke up, turned it on, and immediately I could smell this salty aroma (typical for burning electronics). No flashing red light (its solid green), no errors its working. Chosen Solution When I turn on my phone the screen wont show anything but a grey screen. The notification light at the top works just fine. Is the screen the only thing that needs to be replaced. robin koort it is possible that this is a screen damage. Of course it could also be the motherboard itself. I’d go with the easier and cheaper and replace the screen. Of course you do want to check all the ribbon cables and connectors as well and check to see if you can identify any obvious damaged components....
