It also sounds like the problem was more with the charging circuit than the battery. If you have access to a USB Ammeter, you could use that to determine if the phone is really drawing current when it says it’s charging. I would try a known-good battery to eliminate that possibility....

I do not own a tri-wing screwdriver or appropriate bit, and I wanted to make sure I ordered the right one(s). The six tri-wing screws on top seem to be significantly smaller than the tri-wing height adjustment screw, and I wouldn’t think that the same size bit would work for both. But now the “punch in the ear” technique does not work SOMETIMES. Now, when I switch it on i see the grey startscreen for a second or two and then it gets dark again. I zapped pram and SMU. I tried to boot it from CD. No change. Have the car scanned for trouble codes, could be a clogged catalytic converter, faulty fuel injectors, bad distributor, faulty coil, etc., best to take it into a good shop have them take a look, scan, diagnose and estimate repair. Chosen Solution Hello My OWC SSD is not recognized by MacOS Recovery Disk Utility in my 2013 Macbook Air. I carried out the Mac OS High Sierra update and successfully used the SSD for about a year. Then I think I did something wrong during a factory reset, and the drive is no longer recognized. Is there some way to send it out to OWC to get it reconditioned? Otherwise I will see whether this procedure works....

Chosen Solution Hi so I decided to replace the stock thermal paste on my PS4 and while I was doing it some old thermal paste went on or near the pin holes around the apu. Would this be a problem or can I leave it like that.? I already tried cleaning it the best I could with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Thermal paste is non-conductive and won’t interfere with any of the pins....
Chosen Solution Daughters laptop suddenly boots to just a bios screen. Well at first it was giving options on a blue screen, like f1 for this f8 for that. But quickly turned into just the bios. Save and exit a few seconds later, back in the bios. It shows the CD-ROM in the SATA drive menu, but not the HDD. Popped the hd into a desktop and it booted and ran fine....
