Chosen Solution I had recently picked up a second hand 3ds a couple of days ago, which was all in working shape (save for a faulty SD card slot). However I had noticed that while it has no problem turning on, the system will make a ‘pop’ sound and completely turn off when the power button is pressed (while the system is on), instead of going to the “In Sleep Mode You Can…” screen....

Chosen Solution When screen cable is plugged into the motherboard laptop isn’t powering on. When the cable is unplugged laptop or powering on @chrissmall sounds like either a bad LCD or a bad cable. You also want to check the cable connector under a microscope to see if there are any pins that are crossing etc. If not then start with a new LCD
Chosen Solution Hi does anyone have any advice on how to remove a screw that keeps the screen in place if the screw head is completely damaged and I cant get any of my screw drivers to catch to unscrew it? Are you referring to the pentalobe screws on the bottom of the housing (on ether side of the charge port)? If you’re screwdriver has no grip , you could try to put a stretched-out rubber band between the two or set it with epoxy....

Chosen Solution My top loaded Kenmore washer (Model 110) won’t spin on the spin cycle unless I open the door at the start of the spin cycle. It sounds like it’s spinning, but nothing happens until I lift the lid (which stops the motor), and then re-close the door (which then starts the spinning). I have no issues with the agitator, and I’ve replaced the lid switch but that didn’t fix the problem....
Chosen Solution Can I replace the spring it wont pinch shut??? Unfortunately, it’s pretty well buried in the case metal. The bad thing about Shuffles is that they are so small that repair is next to impossible. The good thing is that Shuffles are so cheap (comparatively) that replacement isn’t too painful. Sorry I don’t have better news! Thanks I was hoping to be able to get inside, I use it this way tell i lose it and then get a new one....
Chosen Solution Hi, I want to swap my glossy display assembly with a matte one from 2010 or 2011, is this possible? are all of them compatible? No can do. Each model year display is listed in the parts catalogue as working only with one model year. The hardware GPU of a 2010 machine can not meet the requirements of the new displays. They are now refusing to do it and my watch guy won’t touch it as he says it’s a job for Tissot. Catch 22. There are a few guides on YouTube but I’d love some real advice or even and ifixit guide. Chosen Solution I have a PSP 1000 and the problem is the back light. I tried replacing the whole screen but the back light is still not working. So I am 100% positive that the problem is actually the motherboard, but everything else is working fine. I have tried the fuse fix but that didn’t work either.
