Chosen Solution Hi, I have an iPhone 6 that was water damaged a few years ago. It’s still functioning well except that the hadphone jack and loud speaker doesn’t work. I don’t really care about the headphone jack but ordered a replacement speaker online. First after replacing it I was able to get the speaker to work for a few seconds but after a while it stopped. I opened it up again to check the connections but can’t see any corrosion....

Chosen Solution I know there is a picture on the screen because I get sound and sometimes a backlight picture. However I can’t get the back light to come on sometimes and right now it’s been weeks since it came on and I get sound whenever I turn it on. Does anyone have the Schematics for a M470VSE VISIO TV SCREEN?! Trying to fix it myself @mtl4255 this could be an issue with your power board/LED driver or the backlight array....

Chosen Solution It doesn’t work and it happened at the same time. What’s wrong with it? Did it stop working all of a sudden, after being dropped, or after a software update? Both the front facing camera and the earpiece speaker contacts are on the same cable. It could have been disconnected from the logic board or has gone bad if software is not the underlying issue. If reseating the cable back onto the logic board doesn’t resolve the problem, try getting the front-facing camera & sensor cable replaced....

Chosen Solution Can this be fixed !! and how This is a similar retractable key fob to yours. If you open the fob and look at the side does yours have a roll pin in a machined hole on the side like mine? If so yours has probably come loose and been lost or something. May need to go to the dealer to get a suitable replacement. They might even install it for you....

Chosen Solution I upgraded my MPB and my iMac late 2006 from 2x1GB (Samsung 1GB 2Rx8 which worked fast) to 3 GB (maximum for these macs) in replacing one RAM with a new Kingston MIMAC/2GB/53. I cannot feel an increase of speed in opening programs, starting my mac or else. Is there a correct sequence how to place the RAM? At the moment I have the 2GB at Bank0/Dimm0 and the 1GB at Bank1/Dimm1....

The problem may be in the KD board or the GM board....

You can find SD card slots on digikey / mouser. Make sure to check the PCB pad dimensions for the broken sd slot and the replacement one. Also, make sure you are using the correct tips on your soldering iron, and that it is powerful enough for desoldering....

Chosen Solution I replaced my shaking iPhone 6s camera with an iFixit replacement camera. It does a great job focusing on close objects, but it won’t focus on anything past about 4 feet. Any thoughts? In rare cases sometimes you need to reset all settings on the phone after replacing the camera. This is in settings > general> reset> reset all settings. If that doesn’t work backup up your phone and do a restore....

Chosen Solution I finally installed my replacement screen from ifixit yesterday, double checked it worked by turning on the device, before I glued it in place. Unfortunately I did not check the screen functions more thoroughly. When the screen brightness dips below 30% the backlight doesn’t continue it’s gradual dimming, but shifts to a dark reddish hue making the screen unreadable at low brightness. Is this a known issue or easy to fix?...

Chosen Solution What would be the effect of replacing the hdd. preloaded with an os. The hard drive is certainly replaceable. You can go larger and faster. The preloaded OS is questionable, it’s according to what system it has on it, if it will work on your machine, what machine it was formatted on. Can you be more specific? Chosen Solution Just got a Samsung LE40A456C no known history .It has a lovely clear picture and sound BUT has 2 very narrow rows of 3 in each coloured lines and a wide about 4 inch goes green and changes to blue and seems to flicker,.I suspect T Con board but only a beginner so could be wrong, Any ideas out there you guys,,any help appreciated thankyou. Chosen Solution when i turn on my mobile it jst shows the first screen where the “samsung galaxy s2 GT19100”. after that it stays on the same screen. i have tried by turning it on n off still its same. taking out battery for 10 mins n tried again the same. my mobile had never met any kind of accident not even a small falls. it all started this morning when i was charging it....

(The one that comes with everything already on it) I did all the steps it asked me to do… Unscrew the bottom two screws Take the screen off Take the silver part protecting the cables for the screen Unplug the cables off of the screen Put the new screen back on. I carefully put the new screen back on and there was bunch of white bars and red and blue lines, so I took and off and tried it again....

Chosen Solution A friend has an iPhone 6 plus, and she sat on it. The Screen was not broken, but the case was bent, So i opened it, removed the screen, and gently bend the case to its proper position. Put back the screen, and…..nothing appears on the screen, although the phone starts. I said im no Pro, let it have checked with a local store. They said its the screen, so we bought a new screen, Installed, and the screen shows an image for a few seconds and turns black....

Chosen Solution I removed the rear case of my HTC one m8 and replaced the charging board as it was damaged. After reassembly the phone works perfectly with the exception of the sim card not being recognized. I have tried inserting it many times as well as putting tape on the card to make it thicker. Nothing has worked. Please help quickly! Thanks I’m quite surprised to how you managed to make the sim card slot not working properly....

Chosen Solution Sometimes the screen show green or dims the screen for no reason or even flashes for no reason not if its just right it does none of this UPDATE 1/23/2022 It seems to be the motherboard :C UPDATE 1/29/2022 Nvm i fixed it the LVS cable latch wasn’t latched on the the board,so it was kinda falling out @danj Did you inspect both LVDS cable connections for corrosion?
