Chosen Solution I recently replaced the optical drive in my son’s xbox one - made sure to order a compatible drive, watched the tutorials, transferred the pcb, etc. Mechanically the drive seems to be working fine (insert, eject, spinning) but no data is being transferred. Disassembled a second time, made sure lens was clean, all ribbon cables secured accurately and still no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Sounds like you may have just gotten a bad drive....

Chosen Solution I just replaced the screen on iPhone 7 and when I put everything back together the screen won’t even light up… I don’t know if it’s the phone or the new screen… it was fairly simple to make the connections and I double checked them again and they seem to be seated properly… any thoughts or answers? Did you unplug battery before doing the repair? Sounds like either faulty screen or backlight filter blown....

Chosen Solution A client has a 2012 MacBook Pro that is running perfectly -except- the screen is way too bright and washed out. When I created a new user account and logged in as that new user, the problem disappears and I could calibrate the screen (which I made “available to all users”). When I logged back in as the client and tried to use that calibration, there was no improvement; still washed out....

Chosen Solution I discovered that 3 screws came out from the bottom of my MBP and I need to fix it. Thankfully the screws ended up in the bottom case so I have those. I just need a screwdriver to put them back. Can someone tell me what to order? Thanks! Chosen Solution should I be able to shift through all five gears without engine running on 94 ranger Update (03/27/2017) how can I put the 5speed trans in neutral without the shifter installed @johnking2 it is very difficult to shift through the gears when the tranny is not turning. Your synchronizers are really not meant to mesh the gears etc. during a stationary operation. As in how to place it in neutral would depend on what transmission you have....

Chosen Solution My girlfriend plugged her phone in the car and went into the gas station quickly. When she came out she said her phone was smoking and now will not turn on or anything. Do I just replace the battery or would it just be worth it to get a new phone? Batteries are cheap and worth a try USUALLY but I doubt it’s just that. First thing is to look under the hood at the logic board to see if there is apparent damage....

Chosen Solution My TV sound keeps going down on its own too 0 and won’t stay on any number rde70, Make sure button on remote is not sticking, remove batteries. The volume control seems to be an issue with some of the Samsung TV’s. After checking out some forums, I suggest you open TV and remove the wire from volume button control board to interface board. This should fix your problem according to forums I have read....

Chosen Solution I was making a video when my friend slapped me. The phone ended up flying out of my hands and hitting my car and falling on a concrete driveway. Chosen Solution I want it to work more than 15 seconds. My question is this: I cannot buy the Thermal Fuse . Can I not use the Thermal Fuse? I want to short it so that it works. Update (08/06/2020) They have tons of fuses/regulators I don’t know which I should get. Do you have one in mind? Don’t short it - you’re asking for trouble! It blew for a reason and you need to find out why before you do something that dangerous that kills any chance for repair....

I already checked the soldering but it don’t show any bypass. Know it won’t turn on. Chosen Solution So my WD USB controller board has 3 burnt capacitors on it after years of use i found the cause after cracking the case open. Now my main question is can i replace those capacitors by soldering in new ones or just find if they even make a replacement USB control board. the drive itself is fine i plugged it straight to my mother board it did manage to be recognized but it disappears after a few moments i did read there is something built in to the controller that protects your data....

Chosen Solution 2002 Honda Accord, how to replace fuel line It depends on if the line is the high pressure side of the return line. If it’s the return side cut the line clean and splice in a piece of high pressure fuel line that fits as snug as possible and double clamp it with hose clamps at each end. If its on the high pressure side you can get compression fittings at your local auto parts store and splice in a piece of plastic fuel line....

It only boots up to the Grey Apple Logo and repeatedly beeps three beeps. Tried removing the RAM & re-insert only one RAM module at a time still will only boot to three beeps. Any ideas?? Thanks. Chosen Solution I need to remove the headliner on a 2013 ford fusion @teryn , Cliff, before removing the headliner are there and interior dome lights in the vicinity of the antenna. Some times the antenna base nut can be accessed by removing the dome light. If not accessible there is a write up at link below on removing the headliner. Good luck. Use a Q-Tip and IPA to get the outer shell, and then use a small object (such as a toothpick) on the part sound comes out of. Be gentle otherwise you may puncture it. The difference between Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 and i9505 LCD Screen digitizer assembly is the front frame / front housing.The LCD Display and Digitizer are compatible,but i9500 front frame can not fit i9505. If you bought a lcd screen without the frame,you should transfer the frame to the LCD....
