Chosen Solution So I pulled a logic board from a damaged iPhone 6, for the purpose of unlocking my iCloud locked iPhone 6. Why do this instead of get a brand new iPhone? I got the locked iPhone 6 for free, and I won the auction for the damaged iPhone 6 was only $22, therefore I thought it would be a good solution. The phone was water damaged, but I still thought the logic board looked fine, so I tried it anyways....
Chosen Solution Hey everyone, a few days ago I plugged in my Phone charger into my van and it started charging my phone for about 5 seconds. After that it started smoking and now the radio will not turn on. I can not play Cd’s or cassette tapes either. It wont even let me use an auxiliary cord to connect to my phone for music. I’m assuming its a blown fuse but I am not sure about that....
Chosen Solution I have been using western digital scorpio black drives for a long time, in my personal machines as well….. their warranty/RMA is excellent….. and i haven’t had a problem yet in the computers i own….. their blue line is good too if a higher performance drive isn’t needed…… WD has a model line now with AF (advanced format) 4k sectors which allows for more storage space after formatting…. and OSX supports this……… not sure which reviews on newegg have been read, they get high marks and customer choice awards....

Chosen Solution Hi. I just replaced the dead battery on my iPhone 6s Plus, and installed a battery that is made by a third party company. It did turn on and the phone works perfectly fine. (Before the replacement, it was stuck in the drained battery page but now it works ok) However, when I charge the phone, it would not charge itself. I know for sure it is not the fault of the cable because if I plug the cable when the phone is off, it automatically turns on the black Apple logo on the white background and boots....
Chosen Solution I got an iMac late 2009 (i7, HD4850 512Mb) runnin latest macOS and my graphic card just died. I can find cheaper HD6970 than the exact replacement for my card. Has anyone done the upgrade recently? Will it work with High Sierra? Apple has custom firmware on their graphics cards so you just can’t throw in any card. So unless it has an Apple logo’ed label on the firmware chip you are taking risks....
Chosen Solution My wife’s phone was run over by a car. Amazingly the screen was not damaged and it retained most of it functions. The rear camera lens was cracked, but initially, the camera still “worked” though it was completely blurred out. Now when the camera app is opened for the rear camera, there is only a blank screen, and the flash/flashlight will not turn on. I figure I will need to replace the camera and lens and have seen where they are available....

Chosen Solution my phone fell down once after 5-6 months the touch gets hanged, while incoming calls and using the phone.After that i changed the screen and everything went well,after nearly one month same problem comes back is it the problem of the screen or the logic board Hard to tell without measuring and without divination powers. One month is a pretty long time for a board issue though.. we couldn’t rule it out completely but in this case I’d be more inclined to think about a faulty screen and I’d go for a replacement to start with, since it’s relatively inexpensive and easy....

This may be due to a blown backlight circuit—which may happen if you tried to reconnect the display with the battery attached and powering the logic board....
Chosen Solution Please help when I disconnect the charger my iPod shuts down immediately and doesn’t switch on again. Sounds like you have a dead battery. You can find a replacement battery here (caveat emptor - I don’t know if this is a reputable vendor or not) and a teardown guide here. There is also a Youtube video here. I turned it back on and the computer seems to be working fine except for the third row of keys in the middle. The keys from “w” to “o” don’t work (i.e.: w e r t y u i o). Coffee was not even spilled on the right half of the keys....

I’ve never noticed it before and I have had some strange things happening with my computer lately. I can’t select it or open it but it appears to be holding space on my hard drive. Chosen Solution I had an iPhone 6s with a broken screen that was functional so I tried replacing the screen. When I had the phone open I replaced the battery as well. Now the phone will only power on and stops at the Apple logo. I have tried the suggested reboot tricks (holding the volume button) but nothing happens. I can hold the power and home button and it will power off but automatically reboots and gets stuck on the Apple logo....
Chosen Solution Hi, My touch ID and home button had been broke a while, ‘‘‘’this was making my battery drain really quickly, i read online if you factory reset the device you can set up without touch ID and this can help the battery problem, But since doing this i set up the phone, connected to WiFi, and began to put my data from iCloud on, Because I did not use touvh ID i had to set up a passcode, I then was brought to a screen saying ‘press home to upgrade’ it shows the assistive touch button is on the side of the screen but I cannot use it, its as though it is frozen, I plugged into itunes and i cannot connect as it says enter passcode to use iphone but there is no way I can do this, I am just stuck at this screen:( PLEASE HELP...
