Chosen Solution I just ordered an iPhone 7 replacement battery kit. The current battery still works ‘OK’ and I’m wondering if there is a way to utilize it as a ‘USB back up battery pack’ vs disposing? I’m not aware of any adapter that would allow you to use an older battery as a power bank but I’m convinced if it would exist it would be a money waste as you can buy a power bank that would suffice a couple iPhone full charges and more for around 20$, including a brand new high capacity battery....

I think it might have to do with that extractable metal thin plate that sits under where the middle right finger rests (more or less). See if this may do it: Go into your system preferences and mouse settings and make sure that “secondary click” is selected....
Chosen Solution I have a short on ppc main, when using freezing spray the heat is centralized under the cpu and u2000on the underside. This is after a drop according to the customer. What would you guys do from here? Have you measured the PP_VCC_MAIN line to see what the actual resistance is? That is the main power line so it’s normal that it would heat up first and the PMIC & CPU are the largest consumers of VCC_MAIN current....
Chosen Solution Hello I got this iPhone 7 qualcomm version. There is short on line PP_2V7_LDO12 which is causing baseband issue. Is it safe to inject 3V-4V on this line to find shorted component? Thanks Is it a full short or partial short? I wouldn’t go past 3V. The component that’s shorted might not even show heat with 5V it all depends on the component and your equipment for finding the heat....
Chosen Solution The iPhone 6S was working fine the night before but in the morning was dead. Tried doing a hard reset, the screen flashed for 5 seconds and went dead. Apple store diagnostics said phone is not repairable. Took to a cell phone repair shop and tested with new battery and display - it did not come on. The only option is that the logic board could be out. Should i attempt to fix logic board?...

Chosen Solution Hello, I have a late 2013 27" that I replaced the failing HDD with a new 2TB Crucial Bx500 SSD. Write speeds are an abysmal 20-40MB/s no mattter what. I have also replaced the SATA cable AND enabled Trim. I have tried also formatting the drive to exFat and then back to APFS with a clean install of Catalina, and then migrated the data again with migration assistant. Originally, I thought the drive or cable was bad, so I replaced both again....

I tried a “soft” recalibration by leaving it a long time to discharge and then charging it, but it never went beyond 1% according to the iphone, while having a good duration. Chosen Solution Two wires are attached to the speed sensor solenoid module on the rear of my 280E speedometer - the one with the black plastic cover which screws onto the speedo back cover, One is Green-Yellow the other is Brown. Unfortunately my brown one broke off during disassembly so I had to solder it back on. In order to do so I had to disassemble the associated plug. In doing so both wires fell out before I could note their relevant positions in the plug....

Hi @veteranfemale , As it is a new tablet , you shouldn’t have too much personal data or downloaded apps stored on it yet, so you could try the standard Android hard reset.
