Chosen Solution I have tested all boards (all ok) Replaced the tcon board and LVDS cable. Still getting 5 blinking lights. Any ideas? Update (08/22/2020) Thanks, only thing not done, have not changed RGB sensor. Where is it located? Hi, If you tested as per the 5 blink troubleshooting flowchart and all the boards and the LVDS harness were OK that only leaves the panel itself.
Chosen Solution My Panasonic Viera th-46 pz800u turns on but there is no picture or sound. With the room lights out the screen does appear to be gray. Menu can not be brought up. Tried manual reset and unplugging but problem still exists. @klassen36 “the screen does appear to be gray” sounds like your backlight turns on. Unplug your set, remove the back cover and take a look at the power board....
Chosen Solution do you repair this type of upright steam cleaner? it is not generating the steam to clean the floors iFixit does not do repairs. This forum is not even manned by them but by volunteers. What we attempt to do is teach you how to repair it yourself. If you can give us a better description of your symptoms maybe someone here can give you a hand or lead you to other possible resolutions....
Chosen Solution I want to replace my SSD with the HDD inside my iMac and then move the HDD to the optical drive. Is this how it is recommended? Some of the guides mentioned the possibility of bottlenecking the speeds if the ssd is in the optical port. Also, what about fans and cooling? Will the mac be able to handle it? I bought one of the ifixit kits that has a sataIII cable....
Chosen Solution I replaced yesterday my dock connector of my iPhone 7. After I installed everyting back together and started the phone, the celullar wasn’t working anymore. It says: No Service. I removed the dock connector, started the phone without any dock connector and the cellular works fine. Is the antenna on the dock connector broken? Who could help me? Replaced the dock again and now it is working. Seems like the new dock was faulty....

Chosen Solution The hard drive in my mid 2011 27",iMac is failing. My question is the following: I fixit sales install kits for adding an additional drive –SSD or otherwise. Is it reccomended that you keep the old failing drive installed after installing the replacement/additional drive? I ask because, I have not seen a kit for solely replacing the drive, only for adding another. Chosen Solution I noticed that my right speakers weren’t working so I went to sound in system preference and then balanced my speaker all the way to the right but I was getting audio output from my left speaker which is weird. Very weird for sure! Did you get your system wet? Sadly, this sounds like you have a chip failure in the amp logic. I would visit Apple to see if you can get your logic board swapped out as this logic is part of the M1 SoC....
Chosen Solution why does my roku 3 keep shutting down? Update (09/10/2018) Thanks but I did. Tried different HDMI as well as the three RCA jacks and also 2 different tv’s. I also reset the Roku to factory settings and even then, it shut down while loading all the channels. As I was re-setting it up it accepted the wireless name/password and started to load 1 of 88 channels but shut down while the channels were loading....
Chosen Solution I dropped my s4 for the 2nd time in 5 years. Back cover pops off battery went flying. Dropped from 3’.phone will not power up/charge at all. Replaced LCD screen, charge port even bought used working s4 and swapped my mother board (all simple plug and play) still nothing. It’s a much harder fix. I looked at board under microscope it looks very clean. I need the data on the chip recovered it is almost a life or death situation....

Chosen Solution My mac screen is almost completely covered with vertical lines white screen and black spots with black borders. It started off with vertical lines, few days later a large black spot showed up then I noticed the top of the screen was turning black almost like it was leaking black ink. If I take a screen shot the ugly screen doesn’t show up in the image. On top of that my computer will not work unless its plugged in....
Chosen Solution One day, my screen went black suddenly. I could see the backlight was on. I took off the screen and put it in another phone and was still black. I ordered another screen and the screen came on but without touchscreen capabilities. I put the old screen back on and it was still black. While doing a hard reset, a slapped it against my palm and the screen flickered and came back on....

Chosen Solution Does anybody have a layout of what screws go into which hole? There are several obvious locations for the washers and broad head screws but a majority of them are a mystery if you don’t keep track of them. I had an orderly system set up but I tipped my tray and it’s all jumbled. On top of that I lost a handful of tiny screws so I ordered a replacement kit....

(Nintendo Switch Micro SD Card Reader Replacement) Before, there were just general errors with games not loading, CFW ran in 1-bit mode, etcetc. I just replaced it, and it seems that the SD just isn’t detected in general? Can’t find out anywhere It goes under the lightning assembly, bottom left, one screw hole to the housing and the other one to the dock, part of the cellular antenna, without that part signal will be weaker or very troubled. Recently I lost my earphones so I have a new pair but when I plug it in it plays music out loud and makes this beep noise.
