Chosen Solution My iPod 3rd Gen will play music from its previous owner, when I plug it into the computer it says “Do not Disconnect” flashes but isnt seen by the computer or itunes. I have tried resetting and nothing seems to get it to see. Clayton Little did you try to connect it with Firewire connection instead USB? The 3rd gen can only sync via USB and not fully charge....
Chosen Solution Hi A few days ago our iMac got some wierd screen artefacts out of nowhere. The varied a bit but mostly horizontal lines on the screen. The night this happened the computer was extremely warm on the back top left corner (if it is of any help). We could continue to use the computer with the display issues for a few days but it did not improve so it was more or less useless....
Chosen Solution when plugging in, screen shows dead battery, but will not charge. tried different cords and wall adapters Check and see if the charging port needed to be cleaned out. More often then not that’s all it needs. The lightning ports build up pocket lent and dust really easily. If you have tried this and it’s still not charging you may need to replace the charging port and in rare case replacing the battery may also fix that issue....
Chosen Solution i got some vga screens at home wich i dont use and i want to use one as a second screen but is it possible if i get a vga to dvi-d adapter to use that as a second screen?? You cant turn an analog signal into a digital signal. You can only turn a digital signal into an analog signal. So, dvi d to vga, but not vga to dvi....
Chosen Solution My mac pro has been running very hot and lately, it totally shut down by itself. I can see that it is running very hot and the fans had been on top speed all the time. I am wondering whether if i change the thermal paste to the CPU would help to reduce its heat and improve its performance. Attached is a screenshot of my mac pro temperature....
Chosen Solution I have a fiio its an mp3 player. Around 30 second after i turn it on any time i press a button a number comes up. So i would be turning on music and it would stop the screen goes blank and for every button i press i see a different number. Is there anything i can do about it? I just reset it and that worked.

I checked for “do not disturb” mode, any Bluetooth connected devices (and turned it off), and even went a step further and disabled my assistant app. I checked #0# for the speaker, and it didn’t work. Through Samsung Members app I did an interactive check and then it showed that my “in-call speaker” is working but not my “media speaker”....
Chosen Solution I have the late 2008 early 2009 MBP Unibody 15" with the removable battery. I recently swapped out the LCD assembly with the mid 2009 LCD assembly. I later discovered that the mid 2009 LCD has the sleep sensor magnet on the left side of the screen rather than on the right side. I want to avoid peeling the glass display off and moving the magnet to the other side....

Chosen Solution Hi there, I was so close to the finish line! I had just laid down a new battery onto new adhesive strips in an iphone 5c, and thought I was on the road home to reassembly. I laid down the phone on my desk and a little threaded part popped out. Oh no! It was not something involved in the repair I did. I have no idea where it came from, though it seemed to pop out near the lightning port end of the phone....

Chosen Solution Samsung phone S3 has shot Motherboard ,I want to recover data @asuresh5 you cannot recover anything from the motherboard unless you get it to power up and be recognized by a computer. If the board does not work, you cannot access any data. No software can fix this.
Chosen Solution So a couple weeks ago I took apart my no longer working iPhone 5c. Later in the day, a friend innocently snapped the logic board in half right in front of me. Is there a way to recover the information from it, or am I stuck with what I have and should just hope that a recovery from an iCloud backup to a new iPhone do the trick?...

The display showing red and green spot and recently a new pink line appeared that is only visible on black/dark background but invisible white/clear background. The problem does not appear when plugged on external display, possibly connectors issues ? Thanks for your help. We there really isn’t anything you can do other than replace the display assembly....

LED 1 is ON, LED 2 goes on and off (cycling) w/ short fanspin. Anyway I can measure the PSU for defects? Any other steps / defects I should check?...

Chosen Solution Tripped over the wire of my Sennheiser 461G over-ear headphones (it only goes in to the left ear and is connected through the headband) rushing out of the house and when I got back only the left ear plays audio. I was really in love with these headphones and since they just went out of manufacturing the price to replace is high. I took apart the headband and the wire inside connecting to the right ear seems intact but it might need a replacement....

Chosen Solution So this happened a couple months ago and I’ve just now got fed up with my replacement phone and want to fix this one. I’m pretty sure that it’s a problem with the battery but I just want to make sure. It died one day and I plugged it in to charge and it never came back on. I have dropped it before and had the screen replaced but that was about a month before this happened so I don’t think that would be what caused it....
