An authorized repair outlet that I foolishly permitted to work on my Mac mini didn’t reinstall them - threw them out! They actually told me that they’re not needed, to which I immediately deleted them from my rolodex… Please tell me you at least have some sort of ‘screw kit’ for the Mac mini?...
Chosen Solution A few days ago, I spilled some water right onto the front panel of my switch. I let it dry for a few days and tried to turn it on, and assumed the worst when I didn’t see anything on the screen. However, I found out that the console functions perfectly while docked, which leads me to believe the water only damaged the LCD screen. I just want to make sure I’m correct in assuming this before I pull the trigger and buy a replacement LCD....
Chosen Solution I drive a 2001 Lexus GS 300. I was having problems with the drivers side door window and also the door locks for both the front and back doors of the drivers side. I was told that the multiplex unit was bad and the cost was astronomical. I was also informed that replacing this part would resolve the issue with the windows as well as the locks. I was able to find a used unit and had it installed....

Chosen Solution Dear iFixit Within the last week i have noticed that the screen of my Macbook Pro 15" from late 2008 seems to be ripping itself apart on the backside where it is connected to the main body of the mac. During the past 8 years it has been dropped and the corners of the backside of the screen got slightly bend, but no critical damage....

Chosen Solution My problem is simple, would everybody stop trying to be so cute. EVERYTHING WORKING FINE then windows updates, yesterday (4/12/17) NOW BOTH LAPTOP KEYBOARD AND TRACKPAD DISABLED!!! I briefly was able to use a usb mouse and on screen keyboard untill I followed some advice on internet forum that said seek out a certain ‘regedit’ entry and delete ‘upper-filter’ NOW I CAN’T EVEN ACCESS WINDOWS 10 WITH USB MOUSE....

Chosen Solution While I knew Play Music was due to be shut down, I was hoping that it would still work as an offline music player, but Google has killed it off entirely. The issue at least with my phone, is that I got my one OS update and that means I can’t expect another update to remove Play Music from my phone unless Motorola does it as a minor OS upgrade....

I pressed down a little too hard on the right bumper button while playing some Smash Brothers and now it does not register that it is being pressed. Chosen Solution Engine will start if choke is closed, but dies when choke is opened. It will continue to run with choke almost closed for a short time, then it dies. I’ve verified that there is not a problem with the fuel line or filter. When the line is disconnected from the carburetor, fuel flows freely. Chosen Solution I replaced a battery for an Samsung S6 Edge about a month ago. Yesterday (the 2nd of October) the owner of the phone contacted me again and said the phone has been working great until yesterday, she put the phone on charge and when she came back to grab it the phone was dead and wouldn’t turn on again. I have tried the common button presses and also tried putting a new battery in the phone but it still shows no sign of life, it also doesn’t indicate that it’s charging on the screen and the LED doesn’t light up either when “charging” so i wouldn’t say the screen is broken....

Thx! 21dcba, since the polarizer sheet depends mostly on the physical size, they should be compatible as long as the size is identical. You definitely want to make a guide if you change the polarizer. I’ve only seen it done once and it is not an easy task at all.
Chosen Solution My laptop was dropped over a year ago and had been working fine until a few months ago. The front left corner (when sat closed on a desk, facing you) was dented but everything worked fine. However, now there are sometimes grey or black horizontal lines that appear on the screen (each about 2inches thick). For a while I could wiggle the screen and the lines would clear but now here is a dark black line along the bottom quarter that won’t budge....
Chosen Solution My screen turned sideways how do I get it back Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + UP Arrow Keys(or one of the other Arrow Keys). Also right-click on empty Desktop > Graphics Options > Rotation or Orientation depending on your version of windows Hope this helps it helped thanks so much
