Chosen Solution During repair of the single CD player in my 2014 Mazda6, the ribbon cable that connects it to the Radio motherboard detached at radio end. Ribbon cable has less “pins” than “receiving” part on motherboard and don’t know exactly where it should be reattached. Unit was built by Sanyo. Mazda claims it does not have repair manual. To get rid of the screen-burn marks you will have to replace the entire display assembly, we have a guide on how to do that here (follow all the way to Step 7), if you want to do this yourself. However the problem will not be solved forever, as this type of problem occurs really often with AMOLED or OLED displays because static elements are displayed for too long in the same location without the screen refreshing them....

Chosen Solution when i touch the screen, it doesnt respond correctly, especially with swiping and holding down on the screen. this usually happens if the phone comes into contact with moisture. -note that the screen is cracked -note that is has been dropped a few times but the screen was cracked by sitting down and dropping a hammer on the phone. not on purpose, obviously. I have been unable to find any reference to them except one video that says put the spring down the center shaft hole which doesn’t work. I would really appreciate a response. Or will I have to buy an entire new front assembly? you will have to buy a new touchscreen + lcd. Chosen Solution I replaced the screen with the ifixit kit and while everything is working, including faceid and true tone, the earpiece speaker is very, very quiet even at max volume. Pressing speaker button on a call works as normal and the speaker is great, but in ear on phone mode, it’s way too quiet. I managed to fix this but it was a pain. I reopened my device and followed the screen repair walkthrough up to removing the speaker from the screen....
