Chosen Solution touch screen doesn’t work after replacing battery. Tiny screws may not be in the right place but everything else works If you put the wrong screw in it can damage the motherboard and cause touch not to work. It’s called long screw damage. Look down the screw holes and see if you see copper. I believe the long screw is on the top right spot. You can try checking the connections and make sure they are tight and clean....

Chosen Solution I recently moved to a new location. My movers broke the water inlet valve on my ale more HE3 washer. I ordered a new valve assembly, and replaced the broken one. I left the house to get something, and my wife tried to run the machine, but I forgot to open the water vavles. I unplugged the machine, turned on the water, but now all the machine does is drain, and show “:33” on the display....

I’ve noticed some noise not seen on the other machines and had some observations. I’m seeing idle temps of 50-55 degrees. Chosen Solution My TV fuse sparked while watching it,does this affect the TV or i just need to change the fuse. The fuse breaks the circuit if a fault in an appliance causes too much current to flow. This protects the wiring and the appliance if something goes wrong. The fuse contains a piece of wire that melts easily. If the current going through the fuse is too great, the wire heats up until it melts and breaks the circuit....

Chosen Solution what are the pin outs for the power supply and other connectors no voltage on some pins pinouts for ATX cables are mostly the same, but I found that a quick google search of [cable name] pinout diagram and then click images.

Chosen Solution I took my phone to a phone repair shop and they replaced my screen but it is not as bright as it was before it was replaced and my home button is very sensitive. Please Help! It is probably a copy lcd or they haven’t copied the data from the old screen for true tone. If your brightness won’t adjust then when the shop refitted your front camera ribbon they haven’t got the sensor seated correctly....

Chosen Solution So my Coolpad note 5 got dropped in water. Picked it up immediately and it was working for few minutes before the screen flickered and display went out. Phone is still on the LED for charging and notification is working , phone is vibrating with notification, just the display is completely off. Please help me what to do next. Chosen Solution Replaced screen with an ifixit replacement. (iPhone 6 plus). On waking phone, 50% of the time the touch screen does not respond to touch. Takes about 5-10 seconds before it works normally. Sadly, this sounds like your phone may be suffering from Touch Disease. You don’t give us much info so perhaps you can share the history of the device (falls or impacts, broken screens, bent housing etc....

Will do this everytime I open and shut the screen/lid Hi, What is the model number of your laptop? Try the torch trick to see if it is a LCD backlight power feed (or lid switch) problem. Turn on the laptop and when you think that it should have booted all the way to the Windows desktop (check HDD activity light has settled down), shine a torch at an angle close to the screen and check if you can detect the Windows desktop image....

Chosen Solution I have an S20 I want to repair. the screen is cracked and does not have touch in certian areas. Will I have to replace the whole screen or just the glass? Replace the screen with a new frame attached. Piece of cake to do, no faffing with removing the screen from the frame and trying to glue the new one in properly.
