Chosen Solution I need help, I have no sign on my MBP. I live in the countryside in Portugal and no where near an Apple store, so I’ve been trying to read and learn as much as possible. I did take it to a computer repair shop in the nearby town, but they didn’t want to risk a diagnosis because they were dealing with a Mac. They said it could be the battery or the logic board....
Chosen Solution I have a 2106 Razer Blade 14" Laptop that won’t boot from the HDD or a bootable USB I made. It starts, gives me the choices for Boot Menu, BIOS, and Recovery. I can get Boot order options. I can enter the BIOS menu. Recovery take me to a screen that gives me an error code but I can’t do anything with it. In the BIOS menus I can see the HDD listed and the USB listed, but when I choose them as the boot option it exits the bios menu, puts the Razer logo on the screen for 10 secs, then goes to a black screen....
Chosen Solution I truly hope someone can help. I’ve carefully made it through the replacement of my internal HD per iFixit instructions. However, at step 25 (removing speaker connection) the connector on the logic board separated. Is there any way to repair this connection without taking this to an expensive repair shop? Thank you!! / Curtis If the connector has separated from the logic board, you need to get that re-soldered on and unless you have the necessary equipment and technical know-how, you would have to take the board to a qualified technician....
Chosen Solution I have an Ionic with a damaged screen and the replacement worked until last week firmware update… it is dead since then… How could I replace the screen from the dead one to the broken screen but working ? Remove the strap from the wrist heat the watch slowly to approx. 80 degrees Celsius gently(!) place a opening tool between the glass and the frame of the watch and lift the glass carefully and slowly disconnect the connectors replace the glass put everything together WARNING: Be very carefull, since the rubber seal between the glass and frame is easily damaged and you need it to seal the watch....
Chosen Solution Just installed a new Magsafe2 board on my MBP15” Retina mid2014, along with a new battery. (The old setup worked ok, but contacts were worn and heating the connector, and the battery was getting weak.) The system powers up ok on the new battery (showing >90% fwiw), but when connecting the Magsafe2 the light doesn’t come on at all, and it won’t charge. (Same symptom with two different known good chargers....
Chosen Solution Help please. I’m pretty sure our son left our tv on for several days. Now we get sound but we can only see the picture if we hold a flashlight up to the tv. Is there something we can do to fix this or do we need to send it to a repair shop? I suspect the backlight for the LCD has issues. But it could be power board too, if you are unsure on how to check, send it down to the repair shop to check....
Chosen Solution About a month ago my screen started flickering at low brightness. I tried turning off hardware overlays in the developer settings but unfortunately it did not help. But the thing is that I can dimm the screen like crazy using for example twilight but if i use the normal android slider then below a certain threshold it starts flickering no matter what twilight is doing. The LCD screen flex cable is worn out and not well connected with the motherboard....
Chosen Solution The battery is holding a charge. When turned on, the power light lights blue and stays on. Nothing shows on the screen, no flickers or anything. Opening/closing the hinge doesn’t make the screen flicker or show any life signs. It can be the d pad needs replacing. It’s a cheap part and easy to replace. See the guides on the right. Take battery out and charger off. Unscrew it....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have the same problem with my LG 42LB6200. Showing one rounded white spot at the center. LG Customer care center provided me a authorized dealer contact, they are straight away saying to replace back-light which will cost around 7k. Does any one have the cheapest solution to fix this problem ? Looks like there is a serious problem with LB series. For sure, LG will loose market with such kind of stupid issues....
Chosen Solution I followed the excellent hard drive replacement guide and successfully upgraded my iBook hard drive from a 40GB stock drive to a Western Digital 320 GB - quite a jump! The day after the upgrade I noticed that two of the grey feet had come out of the bottom of the laptop, I found them on the floor after a bit of hunting around on my knees and put them back in....
Chosen Solution I just upgraded with your 1TB SSD disk etc. install went smoothly. Everything g starts up and I’ve spend an hour getting everything restored. However, I just realized that not once has a fan come on, is this normal with the SSD instead of the mechanical drive??? It feels warmer than warm to the touch in the back but not hot either. One HD replacement. Actually it seems to be ok....

I’m installing a fresh copy of MacOS so I didn’t clone the drives or anything fancy. The MacBook works fine with its original HDD. But when I have tried to install MacOS on the SSD, it doesn’t work. I always get a “Could not install macOS”. I replaced the HD SATA cable as well....
Chosen Solution I have a 76 chevy caprice, I cannot get my brake lights to come on when I step on the brake, my yellow wire isn’t reading any volts or my dark green wire either, but my brown wire has voltage, is anyone familiar with this problem Test your pedal switch under the dash . Follow the brake pedal till you see the switch that activates the brake light and using a multi meter see if you have power coming in and going out
Chosen Solution For a few months now my PS4 turns off randomly while I’m playing. Sometimes it turns off after 10mins and sometimes after a few hours. When it does turn off, I have to take the plug out and put it back in twice before I can turn it on again (sometimes I do this with the plug in order to turn it on in the first place). I have had this PS4 for a year and a half with no problems....
Chosen Solution Rca46lb45rq comes on then goes black ,sound remains on. Did flashlight test and can t see any images. Sound simple? Thxs @tmmack64 possibly bad main board, backlight array or bad power board. Use your multimeter and check the voltage output to the LED backlight. If you have power but no light it’s the backlight array. Post some good pictures of your boards with your question so we can see what you see....
Chosen Solution Hi there, Does anyone know any tips/tricks to removing the new Macbook Pros backplates without scratching up the internals? I’ve followed the iFixit tutorial on how to open it up, but it keeps scratching up the internals when I remove the backplate and has caused pogo stick to sheer off. Cheers I haven’t opened up the new 16” models yet, but I can tell you I don’t have any problems opening the 13” & 15” models which use the exact same design....

Nokia 1320 or Nokia 1520 Win Phone @robert2 we really do not recommend any repair shop since this would never be a subjective answer. You could do a Google search for your specific area and see what you find. Or you could of course try and repair it yourself by using something like this video to guide you....
Chosen Solution Hi, I replaced the battery in my Macbook Pro (i7 not i5) last Friday and have had problems since. Followed all the instructions about charging up then running battery down. It is now switching off at around 68% capacity when running on battery and is running down from 100% in only a few mins. Below are two coconut readings - 1 at 09:32 running on battery 6 mins after that it switched off....

I would play a game with high graphics like final fantasy and in random time’s of the game the console would make a beeping noise and switch off leaving a red flashing light. Chosen Solution I keep seeing things online that the capacitor that keeps time for the original Xbox’s internal clock is bad and should be removed or replaced. I sort of want to be able to keep time, so what should I replace it with? (Capacitance/voltage) Do these leak because they are too low a voltage of capacitor and ought to be upgraded? I dunno. Any tips or advice are welcomed....
