Chosen Solution When I start my MacBook Pro the Apple logo appears, then the bar start up and proceeds, then it gets stuck not completing. Desktop or windows are not visible. How to rectify? Try first starting up in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on start up. Next try holding down the Option key and selecting the repair partition on boot up. If this works, run Disk Utilities on the drive and see if it can be repaired....
Chosen Solution My laptop has recently started running very slow, even booting up and hibernating very slow. What can I do to fix? I would recommend first downloading a free anti-spyware program, (such as Spybot SD) to try to clean any malicious programs off your computer that might be slowing things down. Second, I would remove any unnecessary older programs which you don’t use any more. If this is a Windows machine, you should be able to do this by opening up the Control Panel, choosing Add or Remove Programs, and removing ones that you put on there which you don’t use any more....

Chosen Solution repair/replace CF memory card pins in camera body? The smallest I’ve dealt with is VGA ports and IDE hard drive connectors, but this should be fixable, depending on the severity of the damage. If the pin is bent at the base, but is otherwise undamaged, it should be a relatively simple task to just straighten it out. Since the pins are far too close together to use most needle-nose pliers (even the small ones sold here), I suggest a very small flat-tip screwdriver (glasses-repair style)....

Chosen Solution So last night I sat down and replaced the left I/O board in my MBP 1260 A which had stopped charging after my daughter had spilled a small amount of chocolate milk over the left speaker. After the chocolate milk happened, I noticed it was slowly fading in its ability to charge or even light up on the mag safe power cord. Also of note, I just recently replaced (within the last 4 months) the battery and power cord (85w), so I know they are not the problem....

Chosen Solution I got a second hand iPhone SE and the headphone jack wasn’t working - there was hissing and other noises. Wobbling the headphone plug sometimes helped a little, but then it quickly went back to hissing again. I tried several headphones - same result. Then I decided to change the whole audio-jack/charging port assembly. Luckily I have another iPhone SE with a working headphone jack. I replaced the unit, but the sound problem didn’t go away - same hissing and crackling....

Chosen Solution Background: Removed replacement battery from its bag. At first, the battery smelled sort-of-grassy/toxic-chemically. When installing it, the battery smelled more like new plastic/rubber or something. A few hours later, I can’t detect either smell from the installed battery, even when close up. The inside of the (closed) battery bag still smells like sort-of-grass/toxic-chemicals. Problem: Is this safe/normal? The battery doesn’t seem to smell now, but the bag’s inside still does....

Like It night shift is on. fixes itself when you press it lightly at the f4 button level at the bottom of the screen. Chosen Solution Good day, Recently I acquired a Seiki LE-55GB2 HD television great picture and great sound no issues with the quality whatsoever. However it has a very strange habit of shutting off video and sound at the same time at the oddest times. The power button stays illuminated and once I power it down, I can wait about 30-45 seconds and it will power back up. It may repeat this process every 10 min or so or it may work for over a day before this issue happens again....
Chosen Solution Has anyone tried replacing the thermal paste on this thing? Given how new the system is I wouldn’t mess with it! There are a few YouTubers who have played around with the system as Apple managed to not understand the need of better cooling once again! Even if you improve the thermal paste it won’t fix the heat sink design Apple went with here. Apple is using a passive heat sink which has no means to pump the heat out of the case....
