Chosen Solution I wanted to get some opinions on taping an integrated circuit to a stencil or not. Are most people using tape and if so what kind is best. I have seen some videos were it seemed they just laid the stencil on the the integrated circuit without taping It’s entirely up to you and also depends on the size of the IC. If you feel that taping an IC to a stencil is what makes you feel comfortable and holds the IC in place, that’s definitely ok....

Chosen Solution My laptop has been flickering only when on battery. Most of the time, it wouldn’t flicker but after a few hours of use, it would flicker a lot. I noticed that it’s only the backlight of the LCD that’s flickering and it would flicker mostly when the GPU is in use. Anyway to fix this problem? My laptop is an ASUS F555U or X555UJ. The thermal paste method didn’t work so I had no choice but to replace the whole screen....

Chosen Solution The lens does not retract. The screen shows the words “lens error. Will shut down automatically. Restart camera.” Bob Corke, very common issues with digital cameras. Take a look on here and see if that helps, If it does not, you most likely will have to replace the lens.

Chosen Solution I have a kitchenaid KRMF7065ESS01 It has been operating intermittently for a while. there is an audible click at roughly 2 sec interval from time to time when it is not working. When it is doing this, nothing is working, not the lights, not the door water/ice, etc. I can sometimes get it back by power cycling w the breaker, but seems to be having these episodes one or twice a week for several hours....

Chosen Solution During normal usage my iphone SE’s screen is having some grey lines over the texts all of a sudden and the front of the top right corner heats up badly within 10 seconds the screen is on, then the touch screen isn’t quite responding, sometimes there are even some stripes. Chosen Solution do I have to use a 2.5 inch or can I use 3.5 inch ssd? A 3.5" drive is made to fit inside a desktop computer. There simply is not enough room to fit one in a laptop.

That is the rumors, still haven’t seen any article with a definitive answer but it appears that the 1 TB models have 6 GB of RAM and smaller storage sizes have 4 GB. Chosen Solution Hey, I´ve got a problem when tryin to solder in my battery dock connector. i´tryed to bridge one of the missing connectors to the upper little (resistor) under the metal shiel. While doing this I unfortunatly burn of one of the resistor so there is just to metal connectors left where the connector was sitting. Is the the telefone damaged or is it anyway to fix this? Chosen Solution After the LCD suddenly switched to black I tried everything with no luck, including resetting the PRAM and shining a torch but couldn’t see anything at all. I have replaced the LCD panel and when I boot it up it’s still black, BUT I can now see my login screen when using a torch. Any ideas? Tough one, on an older machine the inverter would be out but this machine does not have one nor an LED driver board....

Why is the top right screw not magnetic or less magnetic than all other screws. iPhone 5/5C/5S all have the top right screw as non magnetic. Chosen Solution Hi! I’ve got a 15" aluminum Pro that is not behaving. Typically when powered on, the optical makes its startup noise, the screen stays black, and the sleep light glows. The chime noise does NOT sound. Occasionally when I try various things such as reseating/changing the RAM, pulling the battery, etc., I’m able to get it to power on, screen and chime and all, and to act perfectly. When it does this it stays working for most of a day, but just when I think it’s “fixed”, it goes back to black screen/glowing sleep light mode....
