Chosen Solution All the ribbon connectors at the top of the phone broke when it was dropped and the screen popped off. The screen itself doesn’t appear damaged but the ribbon cables all broke where the screen hinges at the top. Can I simply replace the cables? If so which ones do I need? If all cables are ripped, it’s a new screen, home button extension cable and front camera ribbon cable assembly....

Chosen Solution I removed the screen, or tried to, so I could replace it. When I pulled it up with the suction cup, it split into 2. Almost like it peeled apart. The clips on the side all broke off. Now the rest of the display is stuck in the phone and I can’t figure out how to get it out. It’s almost like it’s glued in. Help please! Take a look at the last picture of Step 43 of this guide....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen on my 3gS with thanks to the instructions. It went smoothly except the old screen was a little tough to get off until I got the hang of it. However, now the slide to unlock or slide to power off is really hard to do - usually doesn’t work. Sometimes with a really light touch I can get it to work. Chosen Solution So I spilt an entire cup of milk, let it sit for a few days, cleaned it out with alcohol, and now i just turned it on to see what damages had occurred. The keys are obviously sticky, but i didnt clean them, because whats the point if I dont know if i could even use the computer. Everything that i know doesnt work: Battery doesn’t charge, I connected the mac to external display and boot it in safe mode, checked the system report and says the battery health is 44% and is at around 350 cycles....

The backlight is in behind the panel and since this is a Vizio, repair manuals are not easy to come up. You’ll have to experiment or check youtube to see if you find a Vizio backlight repair. This video should help you out and this one is a general one on how to replace the backlight strip....

A Belt is supposed to run from a pulley attached to the shaft where the blade is, to another pulley near the front wheel drive mechanism in order to propel. I went out and bought the proper belt, but the problem is that it looks like the pulley mechanism attached to the shaft was placed in there upside down....
