Chosen Solution I have a small scratch on my display. On my matte displays I have been able to mask it by rubbing Vaseline over the scratch. I tried this on my retina but it leaves a sheen where I placed is. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas about a kind of material to use. Would Dipslex work? Sadly, you’ll need to live with the scratches as the display has a coating that will be damaged....
Chosen Solution 2001 Jeep GC with the 4.0 when I start it in the morning well actually pretty much everything it either stalls or has a c really low rough idle but if I give it gas and hold it at about a 1000 rpm and slowly let my foot off it will idle normal for the most part. It does it hot cold doesn’t matter. Changed Crank sensor, MAP, IAC, TPS, Sparkplugs and the cam sensor and synchronizer....

I’ve been researching and as far as I can tell the wrap is made of cellulose nitrate or celluloid acetate. I know nothing about these materials. What can I use to strip the brown spray paint off but try not to harm the original wrap? If I do harm the wrap, can I fine sand and polish it back?...

Chosen Solution While using my speaker the other day I noticed a muffled sound coming from it. Once the music is at a certain level I start to hear the muffled/distorted noise which I’m not sure how to fix. On the second day, I used them for a bit and then whenever I switched songs, it would disconnect from Bluetooth from my iPhone. And no, there’s no water damage. Just wanted to know. Yes. iOS devices will first try to reduce power consumption by scaling down screen brightness, then try to throttle peocessors. Thermal throttling on iPad is much rarer than iPhone. A bigger screen and battery means much more power and thermal budget....

Chosen Solution Looks like iFixIt has started stocking used OEM parts for the controller. The chances of you finding “OEM” parts for these and/or 99% of similar items are ZERO. Industry doesn’t want them rebuilt. They want people buying new. One place to start with for finding parts is Alibaba. You can find a great many aftermarket parts there. Their venders mostly sell wholesale, be prepared to buy quantities. DX is another viable source and they don’t mind selling singles....
Chosen Solution When doing front glass repairs after removing the display from the frame there is a sheet of adhesive left (after taking the heat adhesive away) it is easily the hardest part of the repair, removing it is very difficult. Does anybody have any tips on how to remove it? 99.9% Isopropyl alcohol. That removes adhesive fairly well, and safely to.
