Chosen Solution I bought a brand new PSP 2000/3000 battery off amazon a while ago since my other one seemed to have died. It worked when I put it in the for the first time, but after that, the battery would disconnect and reconnect very quickly (at least according to the XMB and P Tester) The system would still work fine plugged in without the battery, but if I have the battery inserted while plugged in, the PSP would assume the battery is full after a couple of minutes and shut down, requiring me to remove the battery and the power adapter to boot back up....

Chosen Solution Yesterday noticed that the freezer was defrosting, refrigerator seemed okay. This morning fridge is also warming. We can hear the fan or something running, light is on. Cleaned the coils, which were quite dirty, and also left it unplugged for about 2 hrs to see if it would reboot somehow. No luck. Temp controls are also fine. I’ve read that it could be something related to defrost system, but I don’t know how to check that....

Chosen Solution I am working on a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that has a pretty beat up mid and main frame.. I am wondering if anyone has been successful at removing the LCD from the main frame where the LCD is attached with adhesive? Is it even possible without breaking the LCD? I just want to replace the main frame because it has a crack and its chipped off but this requires the whole LCD to be separated from the main frame....

Chosen Solution An important question please, I have a iMac 4k retina with fusion drive 1 TB (SSD 24GB). In the future, it is possible that can I change the HDD for a SSD? in this case, what would happen with de SSD of 64 GB? One question more, is it very dificult change the HDD in iMac 4k? I have seen tutorials of iMac 2013. If a change the HDD for a SSD, could it happen a problem with the fan?...

Chosen Solution Followed the guide. Could I have possibly not got the solder connections correctly soldered? That is possible, you can check that with a multimeter. It is also possible that the battery has discharged below the threshold that a USB port can charge it. Try to keep it charging on a AC charger. Check your dock connector and make sure it is clean and does not have any broken or bend or corroded pins....

Chosen Solution I woke one morning to a dead laptop. I remembered that I’d seen the “replace battery” message so I ordered one through IFIXIT. the laptop powered up but now the power cord isn’t working so I can’t recharge the new battery. could they have both gone bad at the same time? and where should I look for a new power cord? thanks I have done the cleaning of both contact sites, the computer and the power cord....

Chosen Solution Phone turns on from top switch only. no response from home button or screen. To clarify, screen can receive msgs but cannot type, Just noticed phone is not charging, Since both the home button and charging port do not work, either the charging port is not plugged in properly or the whole charging port dock assembly needs to be replaced. You can test if the home button cable is faulty or not by shorting the two pins on the charging port dock assembly that connect to the home button (If it physically looks fine there should be two gold connection prongs that should not look broken)....

Chosen Solution When making a phone call my ringer is silent. The phone vibrates when answered and the timer starts counting but I cannot hear the person on the other end. They hear me, but I cannot hear them. Incoming calls: some connect others don’t and in the middle of one that connected I was cut short when it kicked out. They could hear me, but I could not hear them....

Chosen Solution I have a 5th generation ipod that has the no-sound issue, I have isolated it to the capacitor C860 on the logic board as when I press lighltly on it with a plastic probe, the sound works. I have tried resoldering the connections on the board in case of a dry joint, but this did not fix it. My next step would be to replace the capacitor, but I cannot find out what the value is of this surface mount....

Chosen Solution touch screen to lcd screen out of adjustment hit the screen where you should and its out by about 20mm from left to right Before you all go fiddling with complicated calibration settings, try this simple solution with an old toothbrush: Use a card or fingernail to slightly lift the screen bezel around the touch screen, only needs to be just enough to get a few toothbrush bristles under it....

Chosen Solution My phone keep saying that is charging slow, and I am using my original charger, and the phone is new. If your phone is new and you are experiencing problems then the first thing you should do is contact the store. If that is unsuccessful then you need to contact Samsung for a repair under warranty or advice on how it can be fixed. I would not be trying any hardware fixes at this stage....

Chosen Solution Got an iPhone 5s that looks like it was attacked by a flock of rabid woodpeckers. The screen was shattered, only the left half of the LCD was working (the right half was just gibberish), and about the top fifth of the glass was missing. The battery was completely shot; if I left it on the charger for an hour, I’d get just enough power to get to the “swipe to unlock” screen and then it would just die....

Chosen Solution I pull the ipad two months ago, the ipad has two hits in the top corners, but not on the side of the speaker. I reset the ipad and the problem continues with the new IOS software. Chosen Solution I have a 2017 21.5” iMac running a 3 GHz processor with 16 GB 2400 MHz of RAM, 1 TB Fusion Drive and with the retina 4K display. I use it for Lightroom and Photoshop photo editing (amateur photographer) and performing office based tasks as I teach design. (I use a Windows PC for Solidworks and other 3D software) What I’m noticing is that the Mac will turn on very quickly (I guess thanks to the PCIe SSD) but when opening things like Skype / MS Office and teams / Adobe suite etc it is noticeably slower and can run into slower load times on some photo rendering....

Chosen Solution I have the 2 TB Time Capsule A1409. Worked perfectly for about a year and a half (like everyone else has experienced). When mine stops working, it simply shuts down… it does not go from a green light to flashing yellow. Instead, it simply powers down and will not restart under any condition. I can hear the fan restart when I plug it in; I can feel the heat generated from use, but it is not recognized as working and there’s no amber or green lights at all…....

Chosen Solution I have an early 2011 13” Macbook Pro that is exhibiting unusual power issues. On the surface, it seems like a common problem: Mac won’t turn on when magsafe is connected, battery is missing when it turns on, fan runs at full speed, etc. The solution typically is to reset SMC and PRAM. Chosen Solution I recently got a 2DS off ebay, and one of the screws on the battery cover (The left one) is stripped to the point of being basically round. Is there any way to remove it without damaging the rest of the system? I’ve already tried the rubber band method, too. I ended up just drilling the screw to remove it. You do know that this is a captured screw?...

Chosen Solution I took a look at the bottom of the watch and noticed that it has tri-wing screws. Can someone give me recommendations on the right sized screwdriver to get? Chosen Solution bought an ipad mini 2 off ebay…came with a swollen battery (go figure) I paid about $60 for it, the seller offered a partial refund of $40 because he forgot to mention it…so would end up being $20 (a steal) he said he never had a problem with it. i’ve been using it for two weeks now and never had a issue with it. screen works fine. charges and holds a charge just like new....
