Chosen Solution I have an HP elitebook 6930p running XP pro. It came with 2G installed RAM and I have now installed another 2G module - exactly the same as the original one. CPUZ says I have 4G installed RAM, the BIOS says I have 4G installed but system properties says 2.96G Any ideas? Dave that 2.96GB is what the operating system is reporting it can access, system memory That is not the value of what is installed on the computer....
Chosen Solution Samsung UN46EH5300, My TV comes in just fine, after it seems like it warms up or gets into the middle of a show(Picture) it’s cuts off, I’ve got 3 other Samsung TVs, all work great…. Any idea????? Capacitor maybe???? Thanks wildercraig3 probably since Samsung has issues with that. Does it turn of totally or is it just the picture and sound remains or does all of it cut off....
Chosen Solution I successfully replaced the digitizer of a customer’s iPad Mini with the soldering method. I connected everything and tested, and it was successful except for the home button. I disconnected the digitizer flex and the screen flex and the battery also. I wanted to test again and connected everything. I tried to turn on the Mini, but only had sound and no screen. The screen stays black. iTunes recognises the Ipad Mini, and I did a DFU in hopes that it would work, but no success....
Chosen Solution There is either Chinese or Japanese characters displayed on my screen and my tablet won’t turn off or on. here is what you need to do in the case of this. use the volume down button to scroll to the bottom and last option on the screen. press the volume up button to select and it will start your device normaly Here’s a pic of the menu with translation....
Chosen Solution Hi, I was trying to replace my middle frame chassis. Just got the order yesterday and was too impatient to wait until next day to go to a Service Centre. So tries doing it myself without proper tools :( I damaged one screw with a small screwdriver but successfully removed the others with a scalpel. Now I have tried all remedies tape/rubber/glue etc. Nothing worked and now my screw is TOTALLY screwed....

When I went for a test drive afterward, it feels as if the brake is engaged. Can I adjust this without removing the hub again? Gerald, you may be able to adjust the brakes with out removing drum, raise and support cart securely, look on back of hub area for rubber boot that covers a adjusting screw/stud on the top, back side of the wheel....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro 13’’ (mid 2012) with what seems to be a completely dead SMC: loud fan, not recognizing battery, unable to do SMC resets, turns on automatically when plugging charger, if I turn it off I have to unplug/plug it again to turn it back on. This means I could either have to replace the SMC or maybe even the whole logic board depending on what’s really the issue....

I can get the backlight to come on by disconnecting main board. After turning the TV on, it will not turn off by remote or at the TV. The sensor blinks in response to inputs. The first thing you would want to try is using the AVMULTIOUT port with the corresponding cables to see if it’s a faulty HDMI or the problem is somewhere else. If you get an image over AVMULTIOUT it is related to the HDMI cable or the actual port on the console....

Chosen Solution My phone got wet, and I opened it up and dried everything off. The SIM card was wet when i took it out, but I dried it off and tried it on another phone and it worked. My phone can detect the SIM card it just can’t get any further than “searching…” at the top left of the screeen, and I can’t make calls or use data.
