Chosen Solution this dryer uses a w 10185976d timer control. we disassembled the timer cleaned very dirty points-dryer would not heat- prior to repair and following repair the timer lags time badley ie moves 15 min after being on for 45 minutes. it heats properly on all settings-timer just not moving as it should. we have no wiring dia. or schewmatic for this unit. help please Hi, It may be that the drive cog on the spindle of the timer drive motor is slipping or that some of the cogs of the gear wheels connected to the drive motor of the timer may be stripped....

Chosen Solution I accidentally ripped a ribbon cable on the back of my board when removing. What does it go to and is there a way to fix it if it’s critical? I haven’t seen this on a 13 pro yet but I have on the 12 pro. What you have circled is actually an IC for the antenna and it is soldered to the board, the flex runs down to the bottom of the board....

Chosen Solution when you engage the mower..it was smoking..now making a horriable noise You need a new deck spindle assembly. It’s much easier to replace as an assembly than taking it apart and just replacing the bearings. If the other spindles are loose you should replace them at the same time. The deck will probably need to come off anyway. It’s also a good time to sharpen or replace the blades....

Chosen Solution So I was reviewing over the Electronics Water Damage guide on the site. When it comes to cleaning the logic board (cleaning circuit boards section) it says to submerge them in isopropyl alcohol. For how long? Also is it neccessary to submerge them or is it just as effective to “blot and dab” the alcohol with a Q-tip? The reason I ask these questions is I have a 32GB 3rd generation that I disassembled, cleaned both sides of the logic board and all connectors (except battery) with the “blot and dab” method....

Chosen Solution When I turn my ipod classic 80 gig on and try to select something to play it (at times) randomly scrolls up and down. When I do finally get to select the album or song I want to play it (at times) also randomly adjusts the volume. It seems to be less of an issue when I use it through a docking station. I am wondering if it is a battery problem or a click scroll wheel problem....

Chosen Solution I had replaced an old battery in my iPhone 6s. The phone powered back up fine, but now the home button does not work nor the Touch ID functionality. I had removed the screen and carefully removed the 3 flex cables connecting the screen to the back portion of the phone. Some people on other models have said that I may have shorted two gold prong/switches? There aren’t any on the iPhone 6s....

Chosen Solution Hi, I just replaced the screen of my macbook pro with a new screen. The problem is that the max brightness is much lower than before and expected. I tried resetting my NVRAM and SMC, and once I reset my NVRAM, the Apple logo appears fully bright for 5 seconds, before something occurs (maybe software side?) and the max brightness decreases by around 50%-80%. A connected monitor maintains the correct full brightness level....

Chosen Solution Replaced the entire top case after a Coke Zero spill caused parts of the right side of the keyboard to quit working. Now, I still have a stripe of keys (8,9, U, I, K, L, ;) not working, and the power button doesn’t seem to want to turn the system on consistently. Should I be looking at replacing the trackpad, or is it more likely the logic board took damage I haven’t found....

Chosen Solution None of the tutorials or images of the replacement battery I’ve seen seem to have this thin film over each battery. Am I supposed to remove them? Peal it off. It’s a protective shipping covering. Leaving it on will cause the battery to retain more heat than it should. You can leave it there. The film has no impact on the functionality of the batteries. Is just a transport protection....

Chosen Solution Hi guys, About a month ago my Macbook pro took a small, albeit damaging spill of tea. Thanks to the keyboard cover that I had on at the time, none of the tea managed to get through the keys while some of it went to the hinge and trackpad. After careful cleaning and drying with isopropyl alcohol, everything has been working fine to this point except some inconsistency with the trackpad....

I also connected the broken Lcd and it showed the half of the screen. Can you help me pls ? Well, the good news is the ripped cable is a shield to protect the signals within the other segments from distorting other signals....

Chosen Solution when I first got my phone, I could turn it to landscape and read wider items. Now when I turn it, the content does not turn as well. Does anyone know how to correct this? double tap your home button and scroll over. you should see “orientation lock”.

Chosen Solution 2 screws on the motherboard have been cross threaded-turning freely instead of coming out-the philips head on the top of one is almost non existant. have tried levering up whilst unscrewing and using magnet-nothing. screw next to antenna and screw next to vibrate. can’t get the mother board out! if i have a problem like this - i use a small flat head screwdriver as a lever. another possible thing would be a nail-scissor....

Chosen Solution So I’ve had this problem for a long time now and I have never been able to figure it out. My computer takes 3-4 minutes to boot up. The bios screen is very fast, but the windows loading screen takes minutes. Once I get to the actual desktop, it boots up very quickly and everything operates very quickly/stable as well, so the only problem is at the windows loading screen right after bios....

I’m trying to connect it to my current lab top that it hasn’t been connected to before, so I may back up the data on the iPod. Both current and old lab tops have the same iTunes account. But when I used for a while, the display suddenly went dark. The weird thing is I still can see the desktop through my cellphone’s light and it still work. At the beginning the display can be displayed at some angle. but toady it’s all dark(macbook still can work but I need to use cellphone’s light to light it)....

Chosen Solution Acer laptop aspire 3050 not used for a couple years. Windows 7.Tuned on, lit up. I decided to remove HP software as I no longer have the printer. Did this through Control Panel/ programs. Slowly doing its job watching the lines fill in. Suddenly screen goes dark and power light goes off. SO… restarted and got the screen with two choices Restart windows normally, or restart Windows with repair....

Chosen Solution When I bought my iMac I ordered it with the optional 3TB fusion drive. There is a recall on this drive and is going to be replaced for free under Apple’s recall campaign for these failing drives. I have AppleCare so a tech is coming to my house to swap the drive out. (The same thing happened 3 years ago with my 21.5" iMac. When the tech came to my house I paid him to install a new 3TB drive instead of the replacement drive Apple provided to him....
