It’s an electric air pump great for pumping up car tires etc. So despite being probably 20 years old, it still works great, with one catch. Like most pump valves, when you flip the lever back, it squishes a piece of rubber that squeezes the valve of the tube/wheel, which creates the seal. Well after 20 years, the rubber in my valve is completely dry-rotted....

This is one of the major reasons for getting away from vinyl. Chosen Solution I purchased a G4 quicksilver from a thrift shop and found it had no hard drive in it I have installed a second hand known good hard drive that i used “macdrive” on a pc to format into the G4 and powered it up, i get a “boing” and a face on the monitor. Chosen Solution Hi, I tried replacing two Z3c screens and once connected no visual display is showing on new screens but touch and sound working. I tried reconnecting the original screens back and still same problem on both devices.. I am not a novice and I have fixed Sony devices before and i am just baffled as to what it could be. I have used company before for previous screens but not ruling out faulty screens :/...

I believe the optical drive needs to be replaced. Is this part interchangable? Also I would like to know if the bdp-015 has any pros and cons compared to the others. Chosen Solution I have a Samsung LN46D550K1FXZA with Power Supply BN44-00441A… It died on me suddenly, now I have no power, display, et al. I took off the back, and I have a single capacitor that gave up the ghost. there’s slight surface scorching on the board but no other damage and the underside of the board is clean. The location is CP 820 but i’m unable to read what value was in there, and i’d like to not guess at it....
Chosen Solution Replaced back cover, mute switch and power button. Screen is now just black, vibration and sound works. Itunes detects it, but nothing more. Replacing the rear cover requires detaching a lot of ribbon cables and connectors. The connectors in the 3GS are very sensitive and must be connected perfectly or specific components tend not to work (it happened to my friend’s speaker a month ago). You should try reopening the device and checking to make sure that all connectors are properly installed....

The thing is it still received texts calls and (annoyingly) alarms but i could not switch them off because 1: I couldnt see the slider and 2: It wasnt responsive anyway. First thing you want to do is to install an external monitor and see if that displays. If so then it is possible that you have a damaged backlight circuitry (including a backlight fuse, failed LED driver etc....
Chosen Solution Also, this was incredibly stupid of me, but when trying to bend the display assembly back, I apparently had a corner of the glass grabbed and a cracked it in a 1/2" by 1/2" square. This is in the absolute bottom left corner and is so small that I doubt it will ever be more than a cosmetic issue. Will this void my warranty? I’m wondering because if it will I’d like to replace the glass myself because I’ve still got two years left with AppleCare....
Chosen Solution My Problem is as follows: the MacBook swtiches of w/o warning during boot any of the “standard” procedures (SMC-reset, etc) don’t help Apple Hardware test runs (fans at full speed) and shows not errors booting while pressing any (?) key (I tried with shift, D so far) boots the system up with fans running at full speed, key always pressed fan control programs like smcFan Control do not see any fans or temperatures as soon as I realese the pressed key the system switches of almost immediately Any ideas?...

Chosen Solution So the problems I am having arose a few days ago. It started with my mac randomly turning off. It happened many years ago aswell but I just unplugged the battery and put it back in and it worked again. This time around I could restart 2 times after it randomly turned off but after that it was done. The only thing that gets the computer somewhat going is unplugging the power chord, holding in the power button for 10 seconds then plugging the power chord back in and releasing the power button (the light on the charger goes out when I do this)....

Chosen Solution I followed the ‘problem’ steps from the manual, but the flashlight is still not working. before it stoped working, from time to time the flash worked, making a popping sound when making a picture. I think, it is broken and needs to be replaced. but how, do I do that? and were can I find a new flasher? Your best bet it to put a watch on eBay for a “spares or repair” camera of the same model but with a different fault....
