Chosen Solution My Kenmore filled with water along with a twin comfortor. It completely stopped working. I checked the power, switched outlets, turned the select knob, but nothing. Power outlet is working, but washer is not. No sounds at all, no nothing…like it is completely dead. Unplug it for 15 minutes to allow it to reset. Then plug it back in and see if it runs or gives you any error codes....

Chosen Solution After replacing the home button works the left part of the touch screen no longer. With left part I mean the portion of the side to the q on the keyboard. How can it be made? Jack, it is my experience, that if part of the touch screen is no longer responding, the digitizer circuit have failed. You can check your cable for small tears and check the connector to make sure it does not have any bend or broken pins, but ultimately I think it has failed and needs to be replaced....

Chosen Solution A customer came in with a broken rear camera, so I switched it with a known good one, it showed a picture briefly, then purple lines down the middle, then black screen again. Reset the phone, still black screen on rear camera. Flashlight is fine, front camera is fine, and the problem started after a drop, not a repair. Thanks for any help! If you are talking about the LCD reference itself, it depends since Apple use different panel suppliers. A search for A1286 LCDs will show compatible LCDs since they do not have to be the same as the original reference. An example of one however is LP154WP3

Guide to replace the screen is here. You should be able to locate a reasonably priced screen assembly, since a lot of those machines have dead logic boards. I recommend checking eBay.
