Seems this is integrated and soldered to main board. The board in the aftermarket is valued ~400 USD, plus labor. 30~50 % pct. of the original value of the notebook. I want to know if anyone may know if possible to change the slot receptacle and where to source?...
Chosen Solution I have an iPod, but when I was taking off the static sticker I accidentally broke it. I can’t get any to my house in a reasonable time and I need it to be fixed soon, so are there any alternatives? Hi I had the same issue when i lost my ones and I just used normal sellotape ,any form of tape will do as long as it doesn’t conduct electricity (most don’t) So I would probably just use what ever you can find as it won’t make a difference ^_^ Hopefully this helps Thanks:-)
Chosen Solution Ok this is a little long winded, and I have tried advice from other posts to no avail. I took receipt of an iPhone 5s with broken screen that would only boot as far as the apple logo (initial thoughts were the screen) after fitting the new screen still the same, I tried the new screen in my iPhone 5s no problems. I have tried a hard reset, but it will not power down by the sleep/wake power button even if held for 5 minutes the only way to get it to power off is raise the screen and disconnect the battery also not recognised by iTunes, my next thoughts were the battery new battery tried still stuck in loop....
Chosen Solution With my 6s+ the battery went from 90% to 1% and restarted itself over and over, and then wouldn’t charge. I thought the battery was to blame so I replaced it. It worked good for a day and then its back to 1% and restarting. Now, its stuck in a boot loop were it will go between quickly flashing the backlight and flashing apple logo. Any ideas? Ive tried to restore but it doesn’t stay on long enough....
Chosen Solution Tablet powers on - no picture. Just wavy lines. Hi kaceci If the distortion to your screen is the same throughout with no visible diagonal cracks, then most likely this could be fixed by reconnecting the LCD cable. Best of luck!
Chosen Solution I purchased a TarDisk SD Card drive expansion upgrade. When I inserted it, the drive did not appear to mount. I removed it and re-inserted it, this time pressing more firmly to be sure it seated completely. Unfortunately, I over-inserted it by about 2mm and now cannot remove it. The TarDisk did mount, and technically they are not intended to be removed after they are paired, but I’m curious if it is possible to open the computer and some how push the SD card back out slightly....

Chosen Solution I purchased iPhone 6 plus battery on ifixit.com. I replaced it, but it died after the first charge,I think so. The device doesn’t turn on at all. The old genuine battery works well, I think I got a bad battery from ifixit. Do you have access to a multimeter? If you do, then you could measure the actual battery voltage. Anything above 3.2V should allow the phone to boot....
Chosen Solution This is a 320 Gigs Mybook . It is about 6 years old. I don’t see it powering up when I plug it in the adopter. The blue light that should come on is not turning on. Is there a fuse or something I can check? Please help. Sounds like the power supply has failed. The drive is probably good. All you may need is a new external enclosure....
Chosen Solution My computer won’t boot up, I get an error message that says “EFI Network 0 for IPv4(6) (F0-76-1C-1E-ED-AB) boot failed” and when I go to the setup utility it said “Hard disk [Not Dectected]”. Any Advice? Hi, Can you hear the HDD spin up when you start the laptop? If not and even if you can, then the HDD may have failed and will have to be replaced. Sure, I’ve never know a Mac that required an optical drive to run. Just leave it out. I have a question. Why didn’t you just buy a MacBook Air? Chosen Solution i replaced my battery in my iphone 3gs and now it just cycles on and off on the Apple logo. does anyone have a solution? Sounds like a bad battery. Try to replace it again with your old one and see if that makes a difference. I most certainly would get another battery. Also, try charging it on an AC charger first.
Chosen Solution Hi, I replaced my iPhone 5 battery and now it won’t turn on. I tried rebooting it, nothing happened. I tried hitting the vibrate button to see if it was the LCD and no vibrate. I have had it plugged in now for 30 min to see if the battery was just dead and it still won’t turn on. Any suggestions? Fun fact: Some aftermarket / bad quality batteries do not allow you to restore your phone and cause the issues you are having....
Chosen Solution replaced broken screen and middle bottom area does response The first thing to check is your connections. Disconnect the battery and then verify that you screen is properly connected and that there is no damage or debris within the connectors. If that doesn’t help, try installing your original screen to see if the issue persists. If the original screen works fine, then you probably have a defective replacement screen....
Chosen Solution Just replaced my charging port on my iphone 6, now my phone wont power on but when plugged in the flash light turns on and stays on until the battery is drained it wont connect to itunes no DFU mode or recovery mode, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and managed to figure it out. Chosen Solution Hello. The connector on the replacement battery I have seems to be too long. The plastic part connecting the connector to the battery feels stiff, so I don’t feel comfortable bending it. I attached pictures to show what it looks like. It is a few millimeters too long. Chosen Solution I ordered an installed an iFixit replacement battery and it keeps saying “not detected”. The old battery still works, just doesn’t hold a charge long. I have confirmed I am installing it correctly because I put the old battery back in and it shows up as normal. But after putting the new battery in, no matter what I try, it keeps showing “not detected” in both Windows and BIOS settings....
