Chosen Solution Installed a used Kington SSD in a 24” iMac with 3.06 GHz Core Duo and maxed out RAM. Installation went fine, however after restarting the system the screen goes white, on booting from recovery partition from USB drive it appears that the SSD becomes unintalizd. After formatting it again and installing El Capitan still again it boots on the software but gives the same problem on restart. Tried several times but the SSD becomes uninitialized every time upon every restart....

Chosen Solution I was replacing a broken screen on my iPhone 6 Plus and I ripped the connector out from the flex cable that is built into the metal plate that come accross the screen. My question is if I replace the metal plate with built in flex cable, will my Touch ID work? The home button seems fine. Chosen Solution Well, I replaced the hard drive, logic board, hold switch, LCD screen, and battery on my 80g 6th gen classic. Basically everything. The only carry over piece is the click wheel. I even swapped outer shells. This was necessary as my replacement hard drive turned out to be a ’thick’ version. Un like my previous ’thin’ version). It powered up which was most impressive as this is my 1st attempt at repairing any iPod....

Chosen Solution I have a customers 4th gen nano, there is no sound coming from the audio assembly, so naturally, i would replace it… but in the 4th gen nano it is soldered onto the board, i just want to know if anyone has ever successfully soldered a new one on, or fixed the old one, ie..replacing the pins inside it or whatnot. any ideas? I think you will need an all-new board as the soldering is most likely surface mounted; making it incredibly difficult to solder....

I would rather order the port I need and not one of each. Which color port goes with which phone? Oke so if i’m not wrong, ( not sure about iphone 7 did not have to replace one yet ), but the color is not a big deal, the color of the carging port in only on the inside, you have a metal ring on the outside of you phone so it looks gold, so you could just place a black or white in there & the bottom of your phone will still show a gold charging port....

Chosen Solution I was repairing a broken digitizer on this tablet and when I attempted to separate the 2 halves I noticed the speaker wire was wired to the board and on the speaker itself it looks like the wire is attacked through a black putty. I attempted to remove the speaker itself from the housing and of course the wire came loose. I can’t seem to find the connection points in the plastic to reattach the speaker wire....

Chosen Solution I finally got around to replacing the cable and I still had spotty wifi. The weird thing was that the calendar, date and time on the computer was backdated to 2014. It wouldn’t allow me to change it but somehow, something finally clicked after shutting the computer down twice and trying again. Then the date self-corrected. After that, I was able to get WiFi without any problem EXCEPT in the one area in my house where I needed it: (my office; go figure)....
