Chosen Solution I changed an ipad air 2 screen for a customer, original home button transferred.. tried a new screen and its the same problem. So opening the iPad smart cover the iPad wakes up, but when you flip the cover over, and slap it on the back of the iPad the iPad goes back to sleep. I have looked at everything super carefully and no rips or dents or anything, changing the screen still makes the ipad air 2 go to sleep, tried different covers, same problem....

Chosen Solution Everything else works okay electrical. But the film will not roll to record. I have tried taking the battery out for 2 minutes shoving it back in. Hitting the reset button nothing helps. Smacking it a few times does not help. some say there is a black roller in there. There is not on this model to fiddle with. Got any solvent ideas? Paul Gibson, looks like a slap on the back is your resolution :-) anyhow read the forum on here and see if that helps you out....

Chosen Solution I dropped my impact driver and whenever the trigger is pulled it goes into the loud impact mode as it does when it gets to end of driving a screw in. Chosen Solution I have a customer that dropped off a studio because it had died. She used it the night before and went to use it the next day and noticed it would not turn back on. She followed the usual “unplug it for 30 minutes” but that didn’t fix it. It did come back on for a brief moment with a nasty clicking sound. I’ve got it taken apart but there’s no signs of a short circuit on the board nor any burnt electronics odor you’d associate with such a sound....

Chosen Solution My screen is dark , blank. Everything seems to work except there is no image on the screen or view finder. Denise, this can be caused by a few things. Most likely candidate would be that the lens is simply not opening. If the lens is okay, then you will need to take a look at the CCD assembly as well as the CCD PCB. It may just be time for a disassembly and to take a closer look at it....

Chosen Solution My tire pressure warning light has come on several times on my 2004 RAV4. I’ve had a mechanic reset it before and check the tire pressure. The tires are fine, but the light ends up coming on again. Could this be an issue with the electrical wiring? I just care because I would like the warning light to actually provide a warning if the tires are low. The pressure sensor on the rims is a little electronic box INSIDE of the rim (or sometimes on the valve) that senses the tire pressure....

Chosen Solution I purchased a silver PSP 2001 second hand as is. I have no knowledge of how it was treated. When I turn it on, everything functions, but on the far right had side of the screen there is a vertical grey bar maybe 1/16 of an inch thick. There are also a couple of vertical lines of duplicated pixels. The longer I have the console on, the more glitchy the screen becomes, and the wider the grey vertical line grows....

Screen assemblies have two components: A LCD (shows you a picture) and a digitizer (responds to your touch). It sounds like the LCD is working fine. Get an RMA through the company you ordered through. If you used iFixit, just contact Customer Support at support@ifixit....

I purchased a refurb mac pro 2012 on which I have a few upgrades(Gtx 1060 6gb, 240gb SSD) All was working swimmingly for about the first month but recently I have had some worrying issues. At seemingly random points the mac pro with no warning will shutdown or restart. I have not really been able to pin down on which specific kinds of processes it shutdown/restarts on. I thought certain processes were causing it(GPU) but that hypothesis has not been reproduceable....

Chosen Solution Hi My friend asked me to fix his sons iphone 6 plus after the screen got damaged and also the back case was slightly distorted. I have done many iphone repairs before this one. I replaced the back case, obviously an extensive repair, as almost every component has to be moved. Also replace screen. They will come after people with their army of ambulance chasing attorney. The only way to find some of the Toshiba SM is by continuing to scour the internet forums etc. I do not expect any of their manuals to be openly advertised as downloadable....

Chosen Solution Hi there, My daughter damaged her iPhone by dropping it in water. A few repair shops have said its the motherboard, however no one seems to be able to source a replacement board. I often refuse to repair liquid damaged iPhones if I see extensive damage and feel they are going to fail soon, because the owner of the phone is going to have to pay for the repair that may be only temporary, and possibly for housing parts such as the screen, the front cam cable, the battery, etc....

The TV keeps cycling - voltages to main board are steady so power board is fine, problem seems to be on t-con board Hi @dgluck , Normally with Samsung TVs that have a separate tcon board, (I don’t know about monitors) there is a board mounted smd type fuse very close to the cable connector for the cable that comes from the mainboard, check if there is also power on it when the monitor is turned on....

Chosen Solution I recently got my phone fixed a couple of days ago and randomly the screen turned black. I did not drop the phone. It isn’t water damaged. I searched it up online and there was a forum that instructed me to plug it in to my PC, open up iTunes, and I did as told but my iPhone 6 is still unresponsive.
