Chosen Solution I have just been given a set of Sony headphones model number MDR-XB450AP. When plug them into my computer and my iPod touch they work fine but when I plug the extension cable that I have the volume on headphone is low and faint. Chosen Solution The speaker works normally when connected to the charger, but will not switch on when the charger is off. Battery monitor indicates 40% , even with the battery removed. The charging led only flashes with the battery removed. Is this an indication of a faulty PCB? Does anyone know the pin connections for the battery connector? Thanks I’ll check them. Chosen Solution Battery store installed too powerful a battery (somehow same size as N type so fit} in HP 41CV and it never worked again with N Type. Person said it was “fried” and gave a different model replacement. Is it possible to fix or is it permanently damaged from overload. Hi, It may be possible to fix it but looking at the start of the troubleshooting section in the service manual, you will need an ET-11966 service rom module and a port extender to start performing the tests to know what may be the problem....
Chosen Solution I have tried plugging it and booting without the battery and trying a different t420’s keyboard to no avail. the light on the keyboard doesn’t light up and the computer itself doesnt make any of the normal fan sounds when you try to power it. any thing els i could try? Chosen Solution My iMac will not power on, the diag LED’s do not turn on ether. I’d like to test the power supply independently of the logic board. I know how to cross pins on a standard ATX power supply and verify functionary but they have 20 pins and most are color coded. The power supply in the iMac only has 14 pins and there are no voltage or polarity markings I can see....
Chosen Solution Express wash 35 min, about min 11 the drum wont spin. Once unlocked, I can spin with my hand but it feels as if it unsticks. will vinegar help or is it a bigger problem? I would look and see if the belt has come off and the pieces are binding on the drum spinning.

Chosen Solution I have a question. My Mac has the Seagate drive, which was replaced on the warranty program. It is 1Tb. I’m planning on doing a fresh install on the OS, as I have a lot of Finder issues (freezing), computer overheating sometimes, etc… So I’m planning in also take it apart and clean inside. Since it will be open, why not to change the original hard-drive for a better one, either a 2TB or 3TB or the hydrids available… BUT, I don’t want to have to deal with the fan issue… Don’t want to have the extra software to control, etc… Is there any drive for sale in the site that would be the directly replacement (as original) which has the firmware tricked to work as the Apple drive (I know there is no Apple drive, but I mean, those sold by Apple)… Are the drives here capable of communicating directly with the system and pass the right information to control the fans?...
