Chosen Solution 3gs shows unknown IMEI and ICCID This is a very bad warning. The problem could be many things, water damage, hardware failure. But lets go with something you can try. A DFU mode restore. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. First push Home button and then push Power button, count 8 seconds and let go of Power button, keep holding Home button until iTunes says it has detected iPhone in Recovery Mode, then let go of Home button (usually about 15-25 sec)....

When talking to someone on the phone everything works fine both ways and the charging port also works fine. When you buy from eBay or the like, they list which devices the part is compatible with. I always check with the vendor first if they haven’t listed the compatibility.

Chosen Solution I just replaced battery with fixit replacement for my iPhone 6, screen powers up beautifully but phone is not charging!! Try your old battery too to check the charging circuit is still fully functional. If the old one still charges, try again the new one to be on the safe side, if still dead ask for replacement. If the the old one doesn’t charge either, the problem might not be the battery but the iPhone charging circuit or the charging dock....

Chosen Solution This is my first 3 gen mini. I have done tons of 1st and 2nd Gen with no problem. My problem with this one is the home button will not physically fit. The screen is a XIAO MO GU from amazon. I have also used over a dozen of their screens with no problems. Any idea? Bad glass. Most likely a manufacture defect. Didn’t make the home button hole large enough for it to fit evenly....

Chosen Solution During a HDMI replacement on a PS4, i dislodged and lost one of the SMD resistors to the right of the port. Dose anyone know the value of this resistor. That’s a diode and it actually will work just fine without it. If you want to replace it your best bet is to get one from a junk PS4 motherboard. Hope this helps. It’s not just a diode - it is a VDZT2 series 5,6V Zener diode....

Device manager reports that sound is working properly but I cannpt get any sound.
