Chosen Solution Hello, this is my second replacement, after one screen broken and now a cheap replacement screen. Anyway, the screen started doing ghost touches, because the glass was separating. A few black bars appeared at the top and vertical lines on the sides. I got an original screen from another iPhone and when I connected the screen same bars appear only this time smaller, but this time when I clic the wake up button, the screen starts to turn kind of pixelate like low resolution, with unsharp lines in the icons, the battery icon even looks like cropped from the bottom....

Chosen Solution So I bought a drive caddy and an SSD for my Mac, I put the SSD in the drive bay, and moved the 1 TB drive to the caddy and replaced the optical drive. When I power the machine on, the drive appears to be functioning properly, but when I try and open it in finder it locks up on me. Disk utility seems to lock up on startup, and when It does eventually load it has problems verifying the drive....

Chosen Solution The scales stopped working by just showing 0000 or max limit weight figures when pressing the lid down. A few days later the scales seem to have recovered its sensitiveness yet it appears to be too sensitive and readings show changes even when untouched. Is it at all worth attempting to repair it or send it to be repaired? Facing the 0000/max scale issue, after some reading I decided to look into our TM5....

Chosen Solution on the Stylo 5 has built-in digital analog converter and Dolby DTX:X surround sound and I usually plug it in with my pair of Sennheiser 6xx headphones I have used them on my other devices basically a Samsung Galaxy s6 in this issue has not shown up on the s6 the stylo is messing up the audio signal and making that weird static sound and it transmits over to Bluetooth it’s mostly happens in heavy Bass songs that go down to at least 32hz sometimes 10hz I started using my other pair of headphones to see if they issue went over through Bluetooth I am using a pair of bludio v 6 driver per side headphones the issues happens on that too I’ve been using an application that steps in and boosts up the bass it is called bassbooster by mvm it increases the frequency to make more better punching bass and on the Stylo it makes it distort there is no way to disable the built-in EQ on the phone and I’ve been trying to figure out how to disable it but I really don’t know whats happening....

Chosen Solution I’ve recently been donated a Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.16ghz Problem is that there are a number of keys on the right side of the keyboard that either do not work, or stick (repeat) intermittently. I have popped off several of the offending keys to see if there is some mess underneath but it appears clean. Also the trackpad seems to be a little ‘frisky’ at times - not allowing me to select drop-down lists other than the first/top of the drop-down?...

Chosen Solution am fixing yet another ds lite (for yet another butterfingered son!) and the top screen is green, you can see all the images but only if you like green! the cable looks fine and so does the connector. I’m guessing this is definately a replace the LCD scenario, but on the off chance there is something else causing the problem, I’d love to hear it! Thanks.x pollytintop, I do think you might be right with having to replace the display, however, give this a try and see if it changes anything....

Chosen Solution Shattered about an inch of the upper right hand corner of the screen & one long thin crack across the entire screen. It still turns on & goes to the start page but does not respond to touch at all. Have not tried keyboard was afraid to tip it thinking all its’ inners would fall out. Also it will power down to the point the ‘power off’ popup comes up but again touch doesn’t work....

Chosen Solution Every now and again I’ll get thick purple lines covering the entire screen. The lines start happening randomly, but once they start, they continue to come on and off every ~3 seconds. Closing the lid for several minutes makes the problem temporarily go away. Applying pressure to the front of the display or just shaking the darn thing also temporarily fixes it. I’ve only just recently started getting physical with the machine, so you can rule out that I’ve made the problem worse....

Chosen Solution Good evening or day to everyone. I have this major problem that affects my playstation 4. A year or so a go my son put 5 disks into the disk tray. I know, not good. I was however able to remove them all with little effort. Tear down entire ps4 to get to the tray. After reinstall i noticed a grinding noise. At that point i gave up because life took me in a different direction....

Will replacing the camera fix the black screen and non functioning flash? thanks The Flash requires a functional rear camera so I would start with replacing the rear camera module.

Chosen Solution I replaced my ipad air 2 a1566 screen. I’m testing before sealing and only getting apple logo and red screen and reboot. Anyone have a step by step on how to fix this? Sounds like a logic board issue, it’s quite likely it got damaged when the screen was broken or possibly during replacement. Since it’s not a simple part replacement you won’t find any step by step guide on this fault, you’ll need to find someone into microsoldering who’s got skills and tools for proper troubleshooting....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to repair my neighbor’s 2001 iBook. The end of the power supply connector has been stuck in the laptop for almost 9 years! I read the iFixit manual on how to take-apart the lower case to access to power supply port. I was able to pry out the connector out of the port with tweezers and electrician’s dental picks. I separated the port from the logic board by accident....

Chosen Solution I replaced my iPad Air 2 battery and was able to take it apart and replace it using a kit and a heat gun. Unfortunately after turning it on everything works except that there is waves in the background which is extremely annoying when reading. Watching movies and YouTube you can’t see see it really. It usually shows up on lighter backgrounds. Any ideas? At this point I wish I never opened the thing up in the first place....

It has an integrated chip that’s solid state. What you can do though, is use a micro sd, and get a OTG (on the go) connector for your micro usb, and connect tons of usb thumbdrive sticks to it, or an external HDD....
