Chosen Solution I have a ASUS 970 gaming/aura motherboard that I just installed and I got some RAM as well. The RAM I got is 16gb PC3 10600 CL9 240 PIN RDIMM. When I install it, it beeps. The beeping is saying that it is not detecting any RAM. I had a 4GB ram stick here that I tried and it works. That RAM is ADATA AM2U139C4P2 2RX8 PC3 10600U-999. Like I said, that RAM works fine....

Now has found out he cannot use his time machine back ups from his external hard drive because the external hard drive is not working properly. Chosen Solution I got this phone a while back used as a backup device, but I found out it can’t be unlocked without having it on MetroPCS for 180 days, even if you buy the unlock code - great. However, I paid so little I’m just annoyed. That being said I did look into using it as an iPod style device where I can have a 64-128GB MicroSD card installed (price dependent) and then if this gets stolen, I’m not out much....

Chosen Solution I just replaced the battery but When I hold the 2 volume buttons and power button it vibrates with a black screen. If I try to hard reset it the screen is still black. Holding down the home and power button does nothing, I’ve tried everything. Its on the iPhone 6s Plus Did you disconnect the battery prior to disconnecting (or re-connecting) the screen? The 6S/6S Plus have very sensitive backlight circuits that blow easily when the battery is not properly disconnected....
Chosen Solution I replaced my display with an iFixit kit, keeping my original home button. Once completed, the home button would not respond and I got a no touch id error. I then re-installed the old screen with the same home button and everything worked. Could this be a faulty replacement part? You’ll need to transfer this part from the old screen to the replacement screen. So, could one retrofit, say, a mid 2010 unibody 15” MBP with a late 2011 logic board (including new heat sinks and new battery)? I noticed the heatsink screw points are ever so slightly skewed and that the battery connector has changed, but most everything else seems about the same....
Chosen Solution After printing a banner, and following manual instructions, I cut the paper before trying to back the paper out. Once before I cut the paper behind and pulled the paper out the front, but this time, against my better instincts, forgot since the manual says it will roll out the back. The paper now refuses to back all the way out, and is stuck under immovable gears. When the printer was under warranty I had to replace the printer in a similar jam....

Chosen Solution Samsung UN55D6000SFXZA will not power on. Standby LED double flashes 5 times. Disconnected the power board from the mainboard, backlight did not come on. Disconnected the t-con from the mainboard, still no backlight. Output voltage from power board reads 5v and 13v (respectively) initially and quickly goes down to 0v. Do not see any damaged capacitors. Do I have a faulty power board, mainboard, t-con board or LED array?...
Chosen Solution I have had my phone fixed by king of gsm and I had to take it back 3 times because the screen touch stops working I’ve just got it back and it’s still doing it I’ve tried resetting it and that doesn’t help. The home button goes really hot as soon as the phone turns on and stays like it until the phone dies. I’ve had my phone done my a man in a van and people at there house and this has never happened but the one time I have it done in a shop this happens....
Chosen Solution I recently changed the screen on my 5S when I plugged it in the screen stayed black and the phone would vibrate every 5 seconds and wouldn’t stop. It shows up in iTunes. Can any one tell me what is broken? I don’t think it’s the digitizer because we tried to switch it back to the old screen and the same issue occurred. We also put it into DFU mode and did a factory reset....
Chosen Solution Hi guys, After LCD replacement my iPhone does not show any picture on the screen. When it is connected to a computer it constantly vibrates every 10 seconds or so. I have cleaned connectors on logic board and LCD already, I have also tried hard reset but without success. Now I am suspecting backlight filters since previous LCD does not have piece of tape on backlight flex contacts therefore I assume it shorted....

Thankyou. is there a faint image? it may be the backlight which costs $$$.if the phone is still under warranty or covered by insurance try that as long as there is no evidence of water or dropping it should be fixed by the company. you could try hard reset or if that doesn’t work try powering phone off and check connector 1 for lcd- make sure no dust/corrosion....

After i replaced the charge port the i6 got service, i handed out then phone to the customer. Got a call after 10 minutes and they got the same problem again. Chosen Solution Hello. Following the instructions here on Ifixit, I replaced the DC in board. I put all the parts back in place, made the connections and finally connected the power. I forgot to turn down a flap at the fan connection, also forgot about the power and caused a short with a tweezers. I replaced this part successfully back in 2017. The Mac is now dead, does not turn on....
