Chosen Solution My grandsons console was run over (true) opened everything up and only damage is the ribbon at front of console (easy repair)a very distorted case and smashed optical drive. Console boots up fine and responds as expected, because the case is so distorted I can’t install a replacement optical drive, my question is can an external blu ray drive be used or a generic drive placed in the case if the damaged metal was removed and the case modified to suit....

Chosen Solution i dropped my iphone and the screen fell off but it still worked and i put it back on but i drop it again off my 2nd story stair case and landed on the first story floor and the screen ribbon cables ripped did i short somthing i still have to get the screen replaced You wouldn’t actually know unless you put a new screen on it, if you can, unplug the battery for now....

Chosen Solution I spilled water on my MacBook Air and took it to the apple store. The fans were running at high speed, it was running slow, the keyboard wouldn’t light up the power button wouldn’t work and it would only work when plugging in the charger. Apple said it was corroded under the trackpad and it needed a new battery and new top case. However it’s now working fine after a few days and the diagnostics state no problems....

Chosen Solution I installed a 1TB SSD HB 2.5" and it worked like a charm. Then I installed the 16 GB RAM upgrade and nothing. No beeps, no chime, just a black screen and the fan might be running, hard to tell. Back to the original 4 GB RAM and starts up like a charm. High Sierra and all else is up to date. Tried running the EFI updater available for my machine and got message that it’s not supported by my system....

Chosen Solution hard drive works,put in wrong disc and will not eject.Screen is black and beeps about every 3 seconds. You don’t have your RAM in right either… that’s the beeping and failure to start. Go over reassembly again. Holding down the space bar or mouse at startup should eject the disk unless it’s jammed or a micro disk. If this Answer is helpful please remember to return and mark it Accepted....

Chosen Solution My 55inch samsung tv (UE55ES6560UXXU) turns on and sound is ok, just image is doubling up with ghosting affect with couple of coloured lines at bottom of screen , i have tried removing each ribbon cable on the T-con board that works each side of tv picture to see if taking either 1 out helps the image improve but removing each 1 individually doesnt have any desired effect, any help please as im not sure if its a new T-con boared i need or possibly something else?...
