Chosen Solution seems like the volume up button always gives contact to put the sound at max. Sliding the volume down in dsi sound studio helps, but as soon as you release the slider the volume gets to max again. Your “up” volume button is stuck down; check to see if any crumbs or dirt have gotten in there. You might need to replace the SD card slot and volume control assembly....

Recently I shut down the computer to install windows updates and when I booted up again it went through the Toshiba splash screen and then prompted “Enter password”. When I proceed to try and lift off the cover it appears to be secured in the middle of the cover…which is really odd. Is this held by tape, a hidden screw, a clip? How do I proceed? Chosen Solution How to remove the passenger side window and then replace it @jesscuz , Jessica, Broken plastic window mounts. Video below will show at approx. 4.30 mark the bolts that need removed to enable window removal and install. This is the driver side window but pretty much generic to the passenger side. Good luck.
