Chosen Solution After a digitizer replacement the LCD is solid red see photo. I tried another LCD same issue, so its clearly something on the board/connector but it was not like this before the repair. Chosen Solution I replaced my screen and now my phone speaker does not work. People on the other end of my calls cannot hear me at all but if I put them on loudspeaker, then they can hear me. What is the cause of this problem? Also, voice recorder does not pick up my voice either. Sounds like your microphone may be faulty/upon reassembly you have not installed it correctly or damaged it....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to get my old 128K Mac up and running. All the boards/caps look good. I do not have the backup battery installed but it is on order. However, when I power it up, the speaker makes a noise like tic, tic, tic over and over and there is no chime or video. Any ideas? Update (12/16/2021) @kozchris there is no real pinpoint answer for this. This could be anything just based on the age of it....

Chosen Solution A friend’s hard drive quit working, and he’s anxious to get the data off it – without paying DriveSavers’ astronomical fees if possible. The disk spins up, clicks once or twice, then spins down. I have another disk of the same model (IBM Travelstar DJSA-220 20GB, it’s an ATA drive) that works okay, but SMART Utility says it’s failing, so it’s been retired. I’ve read it’s sometimes possible to swap the PCB from one drive to another to get a dead drive going, and thought I’d try that....

Chosen Solution The screen does not respond while I was using this device. I tried to push the power, but nothing happened. Device just frozen, no respond and cannot reboot. Anyone can help this out? Try holding the power button until it shuts off. Also try and clear some apps that you do not use, as it can clear up memory and improve the device performance.

Chosen Solution Tablet doesn’t turn on just blinks proscan powered by android over and over again. What can I do to turn it on? Hi, If the device is ‘hanging’, use a small pin to press the button in the Reset hole in the back of the tablet (see image for location). It will force shutdown the tablet and the device will power on again. If the above method doesn’t work then try performing a hard reset....

Chosen Solution Someone gave me a Chromebook 15 recently. The top outside is severely warped causing it to not close flat and there is a bump through the middle of the outside the width of the laptop. The screen is still flat however, is no longer sealed around the edges in spots. Other than that there are no cracks or breaks anywhere on it. I haven’t tried to power it up yet to see what, if any damage that way yet, I wanted to get some feed back on this first ....

Chosen Solution My Samsung has two ice makers one up top and one in the bottom drawer. One up top works great and makes ice the one on the bottom nothing. Ice is in the tray but hasn’t dropped in 4 hours. Any ideas? Blaine, is it turned on? On the display you have to turn each ice maker on separately. You’ll see an icon on the display. It’s a square with an ice marker on the top left inside the square....

Chosen Solution One day I was done playing on my PS4 so I turned it all the way off. The next time I tried to turn it back on the light came on for a second and it beeped and went back off and when I tried again it didn’t do anything so I unplugged it and plugged it back it and it beeped and lit up but turned right back off and It wouldn’t do it again (I have to unplug it and plug it back it for it to turn on for a sec)...

Chosen Solution i am occurring a problem. My MBP 13 inch 16gb Ram and 256 SSD flash was working fine till a month ago. A question mark is being displayed in the screen. a lot of answers reading and Cmd R doesn’t see the drive only the recovery part. External drive installed and it works. So a new SSD drive bought and installed. Still the same problem. CMD R disk utility doesn’t see the drive either....

Is there any diffrent sensor for the radiator other then the cooling engine sensor? and where is located @fusebox. sounds like a bad thermoswitch. Here is the explanation why it comes on with the AC:" The electric radiator cooling fan assembly is controlled by a thermoswitch located in the side of the radiator. Chosen Solution The pin on the left side of my futon came out and is bent pretty good. It is very strong metal so I tried to hammer it back into place to get it to seat in the hole it goes to. This is located in the center of the unit that allows me to get it into either a bed or a sofa position. I am including pictures of that area....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery on my niece’s iPhone 4S, and attempted to charge it upon completion. Plugged it into a 1A charger and the phone didn’t recognize that it, moved the usb to the 2A side of the same charger and it recognized it and showed that it was charging. Next morning the charge showed up less than when I hooked it up, but still showed that it was charging....

Anyway, the phone is all back together and my cellular service is extremely poor now. Any ideas what the problem may be? Chosen Solution I replaced my screen (at my own risk) but as i was reassembling the bottom right corner wouldn’t go down without pressure, now vibrate and sound dont work out the speakers also the home button, sound works through headphones and bluetooth speakers (except alarms) just no message alerts through sound whatsoever, i’ve researched all the methods and no luck, any help? Your description is a little confusing but this sounds like an Audio IC issue....

Usually you don’t get the parts until about two months after release. Though I do remember last year. Third party parts were out pretty quick. Chosen Solution I recently acquired a 30" Cinema HD Display (A1083) with a broken 5-pin power connector (the end that goes into the power supply). Since the power, usb, firewire, and DVI cables are all bundled into one, you have to replace the whole thing to fix one of them. I ordered a replacement, cracked open the monitor (makes it sound easier than it was…) and replaced the cable assembly. Fired it up and…....

Chosen Solution Can I replace the hard drive in my inspiron 1440 with a solid state hard drive? wnrmn yes you can. Something like Crucial MX300 275GB SATA 2.5" 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD is compatible to your computer. There are plenty of others if you can afford those check on here.
