Chosen Solution The display stopped working one day. It went through some stages of flicking back on for a period of time, but irregularly not working when I went to use it. There seemed to be no cause or fix to symptoms. The screen still registered touches to input the passcode and use the shutter, etc. After about 3 days of these symptoms, the display stopped working and never turned back on....
Chosen Solution So I followed the complete guide (and followed it in reverse) to insert the Dual Drive into my Macbook Pro. But when I power my Mac, it won’t recognize the SSD that is inside the Dual Drive enclosure. It doesn’t show up on Disk Utility and doesn’t show up in Startup Manager either (pressing ⌥ at startup). I haven’t tried to connect the drive directly to my Mac through USB yet....

Chosen Solution My laptop is running windows 8. It has a combined headphone/mic jack. I need to do two things. The first is to play my ipad through my computer speakers and the second is to record audio from an external audio device. I have selected the box for “listen” under my mic setting so it should play any external audio device that’s plugged into the computer. It doesn’t work. All it does is play sound from the external mic through the speaker not what is plugged into the computer....

Chosen Solution I bought a replacement drive from iFixit for a PS4 Pro and followed the replacement guide. After replacing the drive the new one makes a clicking sound at boot and doesn’t feed a new disc when prompted. Anyone else experienced this problem? That’s the whole Bluray drive assembly right? If it does not feed a disc I suspect the disc feed motor, drive controller chip or fuse for it has gone bad on the logic board....

I can’t find it in the warranty statement that it isn’t covered for the full duration of the warranty....
Chosen Solution Dear all, I recently upgraded my a. m. iMac with an SSD by replacing the SuperDrive. This exercise went very smoothly thanks to the excellent iFixit description (MANY thanks for that). I setup the new SSD (Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series 256GB) with my a. m. internal 2TB HDD from Hitachi as FusionDrive. Also this worked very smoothly and my iMac really feels almost like a new iMac again....

My landing was really bad and the go pro hit my head and hand really hard that’s why the waterproof case opened and salt water came inside the camera. With the display showing the “battery critical” indicator after replacing the battery. However, after over 1 hour of charging with no change of the indicator, I got paranoid and opened the iPhone 5 again, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery connection.
