I dismounted, changed the battery and the battery did not work, and the iPhone started the infinite loop. Why? Chosen Solution How do I use a volt meter to check the battery ? It is disconnected from the motherboard but there are no obvious pos and neg points. The cable appears to split internally in to 2 halfs. Hi John, I am hypothesizing that the two halves are the main positive and negative terminals. Which one’s positive, I’m not sure but it will just show up as negative voltage on your meter if swapped....

I believe on iPhones it is know as 3D Touch. It is pretty much a standard feature on the iPhone 7, so I doubt iFixit would sell a screen without this feature

Chosen Solution I had someone come out and check my refrigerator and they said was low on Freon so they filled it. However, refrigerator part still not cold but freezer is. I noticed now I have water on floor and wasnt before and frost on copper line in back by compressor this normal? I had them come back out now saying it’s compressor fan but that is running. I did check evaporator fan as well and looks like its running....

I’m asking this because I’ve no problems removing the glue but I would like to know if leaving on the screens some streaks caused by the cleaner I use can cause an imperfect glass repair only (polarizer with spots, bubbles or something else)....
Chosen Solution Hi i was wondering how much it would cost to replace the outter screen on my samsung j5 where the back key is based i dropped it and it cracked just that bit of the screen @shazzy32 check this video for the actual repair. Depending on your damage, it may be necessary to replace the complete assembly. Cost for that is around $70USD

Not really - as with a laptop there’s more to it than just a card. You’d need an 802.11ac router, and, a very fast internet connection to the router. Additionally the problem is that the new board is lots shorter than the old board so the antennas don’t connect....

I’m still getting calls and text messages but no screen. In thinking maybe something happened with the screen I replaced? I read somewhere that if I update the IOS, the update will get stuck as the touch ID is not recognizable. I wanted to confirm if this is true. Chosen Solution So I replaced my screen with a iPhone 6s Plus LCD Screen and Digitizer Full Assembly. Everything worked great for the first two weeks and then nothing. I can see the screen and texts but can not respond as the screen is unresponsive. It does not sense my finger. Any help what to look for before requesting a replacement would be greatly appreciated. Since it’s easy done, try double checking that the touch/lcd connectors are properly in place by reseating them until they get locked with a light clicking sound....

You should disable it and if you are getting crashes review the crashes on a more powerful system (RAM & storage space) To disable, do this within terminal: launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.ReportCrash.plist sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.ReportCrash.Root.plist
Chosen Solution Hi, I have a big problem with my Macbook Pro. After my MBP fell my screen stopped working. I could change the brightness but that was it. I manage to connect it to external display and it worked. After few days of work when playing full screen video the video started to appear on the screen and it would disappear after leaving full screen. The colors were distorted. After resetting PRAM couple of times and rebooting in Safe Mode the screen appeared but unfortunately at the same time external monitor died (it does not receives any input from the MBP, the same is when I tried the projector)....
Chosen Solution I tried to replace my cracked screen and it seemed to work at first. The home button wasn’t working whatsoever, but I don’t think that’s relevant to the bigger problem. After an hour or so the screen just stopped working. I was getting no output and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t registering touch either. I took it to a professional and he said it looked like messed up backlight caps....
Chosen Solution So the phone seems to get service then within 2 days more or less will stop getting service. Some-times stop getting service quicker. Ive removed the main board and put into a new casing and still have the same issue. Its not blacklisted. So is there a main board level problem i can try to fix? or have fixed? Have you tried to reset the network settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings....

She was able to shatter the front glass and somehow, either in that process or in another removed the rubber like sound adjustment bar from the side. Replacing the glass and digitizer is doable and inexpensive, but I can’t find any reference to how to repair the sound rocker switch. I haven’t yet taken it apart, there’s just an empty slot where the rocker used to be....
Chosen Solution Hello, for some reason my subwoofer(JBL 138) started producing static sound when it is not plugged in. I just brought it down, and it worked for the first day, then it started creating a fairly loud static. The subwoofer still works fine when plugged in(LFE) however at low volumes it is very discernible. I’ve tried different electrical sockets, all producing the same static. I’ve mostly run out of ideas to fix it, it does feel unlikely that it suddenly produced an error inside the actual subwoofer, however not impossible....
