Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 rear camera lens cover glass was shattered, so I bought the $5 piece from ifixit to replace. Looked very straightforward from the video: completely remove old cover by shattering/etc from outside, scrape adhesive off, glue on new part. However, the new part appears to be different from in the help video. It is much thicker and appears to require removing more of the existing structure of the phone....
Chosen Solution Have any other repair shops had rogue iphone 7’s in that wont accept certain screens or have really bizarre problems ? Iv done a few now and have had no problems other than 2 rogue phones. Rogue phone 1 probably a month ago now when fitted with a high copy screen displayed nothing, just a black screen. Put a different suppliers high copy screen on and the home button wouldn’t work....

Chosen Solution Hello, I cant find any guide to assembly of the LCD part of the MacBook Pro. The ’top cover’ of the LCD on mine was never perfectly straight and recently its popped off on one side. It looks like its just glued on when i push it down it looks pretty much normal. Any ideas ? Chosen Solution Okay so i got a Pixel XL from an auction lot and the first thing i did was to charge to see if there was any life. Sure enough a red flash was going off at the top of the screen but nothing has came out of it since the screen has been damaged when i got it. However, i left it for charging for 3 hours now and it’s still flashing red....

Chosen Solution Replaced an iPhone 6 screen for a customer yesterday. Called back with complaints of the screen going fuzzy and grey. Pushing power button then home Key to “wake up” resolves this. I assumed a faulty display, and installed a new one. Again, they call back with this complaint! I’m lost, any suggestions? Somehow a screw got left in the phone and I closed it up. Then I noticed the right lower corner near home button isn’t flush with the body. So I opened it up again the next day, and found a heat shield screw standing vertically on it’s head on the battery....

Chosen Solution No spills, but Power button is sticky and crunchy sounding when pushed. It powers on ok, then button slowly rises to normal position. Is this a possible DIY fix? If so, do I have to disconnect battery before trying to pry off button? Grateful for any recommended procedures. Over time your finger oils can gum it up. Moisten a cotton swab (Q-Tip) with some isopropyl alcohol 85% or better and wipe the area a few times pressing the button as you go across and you don’t want to flood it with the alcohol, just barely wet....

Chosen Solution There was a storm today. Can you do a reset . unplug for a few minutes hold the power button down for 60 seconds while its unplugged. then try plugging it in and see if it works. If no Joy a little more info on the device would be nice
