The repair went smoothly enough but when I powered it up,, the slide to unlock on the bottom wouldn’t respond. I tried restarting, resetting and restoring to no avail. Chosen Solution I have determined that I need to replace the LED back light strips on my Samsung UN46EH5000FXZA tv. I am not sure if the replacement LED strips I am looking at are the correct ones for my television. My goal was to replace the SATA cable for the hard drive and upgrade the CPU. I installed the CPU with success, but the cable wouldn’t fit in. That’s not what I’m worried abut right now, though. When trying to power it on after re-assembly, the fans ramp up to max speed, and the screen is blank....

Chosen Solution I’ve tried to thread the new cord through the lamp (stand is in 3 pieces that screw together). Taping the end doesn’t seem to help as it must go through a very tight piece at the very top of each section. Is there another trick for this? Please note that some lamps that are made in sections have very small wireways at both ends of the tube and have large spaces between these holes....
