Chosen Solution My refrigerator runs if you slap the temperature control lever back and forth. Everything freezes and both sides get cold. But after several hours (say overnight), it never turns back off again until you slap the temperature control lever back and forth again. Would this be my thermostat or my defrost timer panel? Chosen Solution I’m disassembling an old and malfunctioning LG E2360V-PN monitor to see if I can fix it by replacing the capacitors. But, I was met with an unpleasant surprise: the PCB seems to be enclosed in a metallic casing, and I have no idea how to remove it! I’ve already unscrewed all visible screws but it won’t budge. The bottom side of the metallic casing has a suspicious notch that seems to be holding it in place, but I’m not that sure what to do about it....

Chosen Solution So I changed the screen on this iPhone and moved the home button in order to for touch ID to work. I remember initially doing this a while ago to the same phone and touch ID did indeed work. But now all of sudden I cant use Touch ID on this iPhone. The original home button is not damaged either, because I still have the original cracked screen and swapped it back to test to see if the home button is damaged....

Chosen Solution Has anyone successfully done this? From what I can see, the only real difference is the hard drive connector (SATA) and a slightly modified heatsink. There are a few differences to account for: The multitouch cable connector on the upper case has been relocated in the Rev.b machines, which makes connection difficult. The black shielding on the lower case is slightly different. This may or may not affect compatibility....

That way you can get away with a smaller SSD and have the old drive or a new 500 GB hard drive for storage. I purchased this C3224 used on eBay and the seller said it had toner but didn’t guarantee the life it had left, if any. It shipped with the return starters, so I don’t think there’s much life if any left in the set. My gut feeling is someone seen the cost and dumped the machine cheap....

Surprisingly, BOTH of the pieces of plastic that are always lost are still there. So, does anybody have any idea what to do first? Chosen Solution Hey, I opened my iPhone 5 and replaced the battery with a new one and removed dust from the camera. Everything went fine but the phone just won’t turn on at all. It’s stuck at the battery logo. I tested the battery in another iPhone 5 and it worked immediately. I also tested the “damaged” iPhone with another battery and it wouldn’t work. Ideas? The iPhone 5 is prone to “pry damage” when replacing the battery....
Chosen Solution System crashes. It tries to reboot but gets locked on white screen with horizontal lines and apple logo, and a semi complete loading bar. This is a persistent problem now. Try booting into Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on start up. Next try booting from the Repair Partition by holding down the Option key on start up and selecting the repair boot. Chosen Solution A day ago, I was using my TV and heard a loud pop and shortly thereafter the TV display went black. I tried power cycling and different outlets to see if I could get the image to post to the screen, but to no avail.
