Chosen Solution some of the upper keys on the keyboard aren’t working Hi, Try plugging in a USB keyboard and check that it works OK. This will allow you to use your laptop until the keyboard is replaced. I say replaced because it is easier to replace the keyboard than try to fix it as you can cause more problems than you solve when trying to repair it. So I put it in recovery mode and tried to restore it in iTunes - iTunes recognized the ipod but did not restore successfully, gave me error 2003. Now it is stuck in recovery mode - forever.
