Chosen Solution The built-in speaker is no longer working. No sound can be heard coming from the bottom speaker. This does not affect the functionality of the camera in terms of image output but you cannot hear the sound of a video when you review it in the camera. Also you cannot hear the sound of the shutter. I think it’s a physical issue but I can’t guess what I can do....

If it does not, then you know it is modest likely the IR board on your TV that has failed. Looks like it is part number BN96-13959B If a universal remote works you will know that it is your remote that needs to be replaced.
Chosen Solution I have just replaced the screen on a 5c. I do these on a regular basis now everything is back where it belongs, I have checked, double checked and checked again and everything is secure and where it should be but the screen/digitizer is in responsive, don’t even get the battery light as if it needs charging. could this be a faulty screen???? thanks If you are confident that everything is done correctly, then the next step is to try a different screen, preferably a known-good screen....
Chosen Solution I replaced the LCD Screen with Digitizer ( Ifixit) Phone powers up but I still can’t slide the unlock soft key. Does not appear to be responsive to touch. Either the digitizer cable is loose, or the touch IC went bad. In case one, simply re-seat the digitizer connector. Case two is a bit worse. I assume @refectio would know more about that. I would also make sure the lights have a good ground connection to trailer frame and the pigtail (4 or 6 pin) also has a good ground connection to trailer frame....

As I assembled and turned the phone on, it got a bit warm, and then, after the hard reset the temperature became normal. I didn’t pull out the white streaks from under the original battery completely. Put the new battery on them and thats all....
Chosen Solution My screen is black when I turn on my laptop (fan is running). Tried pressing the power button for 20 seconds or more but it still doesn’t work. Remove the battery and trying powering it up on AC alone. Hold a light up to the lcd, if you see letters then the LCD backlight (inverter) is probably out. Remove the DVD drive and hard drive and power it up....
Chosen Solution Here’s an interesting one. Customer dropped there phone causing the right side of the digitizer to stop working. There was no external damage though. I replaced the screen and when I fired it back up the earpiece speaker isn’t working (ordered a new one) and more strange is that the front facing camera works but when you switch to the rear facing camera it freezes the app. In snapchat, the button to switch to rear facing camera isn’t even there anymore....
