Chosen Solution I purchased the computer in May 2017 and this problem began occurring in July 2018. When running heavy software, games for example, and plugged into the AC adapter the computer will shut down and requires holding the power button for about 30 seconds to power back on. When powered back on it displays this message: Real Time Clock Error, System CMOS checksum bad Time-of-day not set - please run setup program The light will also flash orange 3 times pause white 1 time....

Chosen Solution My phone was no longer charging due to a damaged lightning connector. I just replaced the lightning connector/headphone jack assembly using the part and guide from iFixit. Now the phone works, it is charging properly, the microphone works, headphones work. But the speaker is not working either on a call on speaker phone or playing music. Any ideas? The speaker makes contact here (note the gold contacts at the top right of the image)....

Chosen Solution Hi Guys So what happened is that I spilled a full cup of tea on my study from where it oozed all over my mbp keyboard. I instantly picked up my device and shut it down( took 5 secs at least ). Then I shock out the liquid that was still inside the mbp and placed it upside down with a keyboard over a towel. I let it be that way for half hr after which I tried to turn it up using the power button but there was absolutely no response....

Chosen Solution I only need the proprietary tools and parts in the Mac Mini Hard Drive Kit. The screwdriver box set is something that I already own and it would be redundant to buy it again (this also wouldn’t be the iFixIt way). Can I buy all these parts separately? iFixIt, why don’t you have a kit like this for seasoned DIYers? This is the volunteer DIY board - I suggest you contact iFixit direct....

Chosen Solution Like i said in the title, bottom microphone of my iphone 4s don’t work. The top one working perfectly. So i can use the iphone only on speaker or with hands free earphone. When i record something with voice memos, I can hear on recording very low volume radio frequency noise. When I try to talk with someone, they can’t hear me, only the same very low volume noise....

Chosen Solution ill be as brief as possible. my problem is a little unique so this is why I cant do some of the solutions ive found for this surprisingly not so rare glitch. My phone died and when I charged and turned it back on it was on the connect to iTunes to restore or what ever. I have years of data on this device and I refuse to lose it....

Chosen Solution I’ve tried manual reset, factory reset, I even replaced the battery as per instructed, but it was still stuck, now it’s frozen on a blank screen Hold Volume Down + Power to boot into recovery mode and try factory resetting it from there. Use volume up and down to navigate the menus. Hope that helped! Held power and volume keys down comes on then just shows logo nothing else....

Chosen Solution Hi, I suspect that the replacement battery I ordered is faulty. I carefully followed the guide to change the battery and all seemed to be ok. However, when attempting to power on the iPad again, nothing happened, it was completely dead !? Thinking I possibly had damaged the iPad in some way I changed back to the original battery but found that this still worked fine and also showed it was charging ok with the adapter....

Chosen Solution I’m sure I screwed the bottom part on tight and the gasket appears to be ok, but the blender leaks uncontrollably when I pour liquids into it. Take it off the stand pour water into it over the sink and observe where the leak is coming from. I had a similar problem, this morning instead of dripping it was pouring out of the jar. The middlescrew appeared to be loose, the one which is connected to the knives, and you should tighten it COUNTER clockwise!...

Chosen Solution My sister was resourceful and instead of taking out the sub, she instead took off the side RCA jack panel so she could check the wiring. Lo and behold, one of the wires that connect to the RCA jacks had come loose on the inside. She secured it properly and everything worked fine afterwards – including the old amp! Im having the same exact problem my amp i just got off amazon is a boss audio 5000w and it is turning on fine as well with my deck but the only thing playing the music is the regular speakers so i went threw everything and the only thing ive come up with is that the RCA outputs are not reading 12v like they should and yes my car was running when i tested this and i would have to take this deck completely apart to see the connections behind and dont know if i would even be able to put it back together, so should i assume that is what is wrong ?...

Chosen Solution I’m aware that I have to half-press on the red button in order to change the flash for my Polaroid.. But the red light will not turn off and change to green, and I have been waiting for several minutes.. What’s wrong? It just randomly stopped working and I cannot take another photo until the light turns back to green. natjarmay, Both the electronic flash and the camera are powered by the high-energy battery built into every film pack....

Chosen Solution I used a toothpick in CHARGING port as charger seemed to not make contact. Anyway I think I pushed something right in as now it’s not working at all. Do I need to replace battery port now? Hi @martin1958, Here’s a video that shows how to disassemble the tablet so that access to the charge port is possible. Chosen Solution Hi all, I messed with a long screw and managed to rip this from the board. Will it be ok if I just do a jumper without the C7730_RF? I would definitely recommend replacing this rather than just jumping the connection. This is a component that goes to ground, so by putting a jumper here in place of this capacitor (? it seems like a bit of an unusual cap…....

Chosen Solution Hello! Just a random question. I have noticed there seems to be some sort of lever or switch on the retaining bracket of the lightning port, and I was wondering what it did. Do you mean this? That’s just a retaining bracket and the part that protrudes upward is just for insure a steady ground contact with the LCD Heat shield.

Chosen Solution 95 Electric Club Car… Batteries fully charged…Switch on, forward/reverse lever in either position.. push pedal…solenoid clicks…. but that’s it. Cart will not move at all. What could be the problem? How do I diagnose or fix? Thank you for your help. Chosen Solution Hello, my Samsung LED TV stopped working, when i try to turn it on the relais just clicks on and off and after about 15 seconds clicks on and off again and again. I read about bulged capacitors on the power supply board but mine looked fine. Standby voltages on the power board were at 9V which was written on the board so that is fine. When i unplugged the T-con and mainboard and connected the tv to power the backlight came on....

Chosen Solution Just replaced digitizer on iPad Air. Everything worked at first. 20 min later, random places on screen were being activated without being touched. Then a few minutes later the home button stopped working. Not sure what it could be. I took it back apart and checked connections, now the screen and home button are unresponsive. Any suggestions? I think it is a defective digitizer but I could be wrong....

Chosen Solution I replaced the screen. Everything works fine touch color etc. But when i am on calls the screen doesn’t go dark like sleep mode and i keep accidentally ending calls while on the phone. I do not know why please help? Your proximity sensor may not be working. If you cover the sensor when the phone is on call it should go dark, which is similar to you putting it close to your face/cheek during a call....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, i was struggeling with plugging in the wifi-antenna on the logic board. as an aid to plug in i used a tweezer with a metal tip and touched the logic board by mistake (battery was connected) and i could see a spark on the board. On the picture below you can see the area where the spark came from (in the red circle beside the arrow). the golden spot turned black after the spark after i connected all cables and tried to turn on the iphone, it didn’t work....
