Chosen Solution I lost one of the little grey rubber pads from the bottom of my Macbook Pro. I found replacement feet and bought them, but I don’t know how to put them on. Happens a lot apparently. Chosen Solution I recently replaced the daughterboard (charging port) on a Pixel 2 XL. After reassembly, the screen stopped working on it. Other parts seem to work (vibration, speaker, etc) but nothing on the display. Ribbon cables seem to be in tact, but still nothing. Any tips on what to check next? Don’t want to buy a new screen without knowing that’s the issue. Plug your phone into a computer and see if a computer can at least recognize that your phone is plugged in....

I later went and figured out that the charging light WOULD come on, so I messed around with the sleep switch (fiddling it around) while pressing power. It came on, but went directly to sleep mode. How do I fix/replace the Sleep Switch? I would first suggest just opening the device and see how badly damaged the sleep switch is....

Chosen Solution My MacBook won’t sleep without immediately waking up, and won’t shut down without immediately restarting. I can turn it off by holding down the power button, but it still turns back on when the magsafe is plugged in. It seems like I need to reset the SMC, but when I follow the instructions to do that (turn off computer, push left shift-control-option-power) it just turns on. Is there another way to reset the SMC, or is there something that I’m missing?...

[wasn’t a device option] Some lines are stationary, while other flicker between vibrant and faint They show up better on certain (usually brighter) colors And are faint and barely visible on other, (usually darker) colors As for solid colors… On Red, the lines are blue and yellow. Chosen Solution My old Candy Microwave has a 1.2uF 2100V Capacitor. I could not find a replacement with the same capacitance, but only one with 1.14 uF 2100V. Would it be OK to replace with that one? The value of the capacitor is not that critical, it does not effect the resonant frequency of the magnetron. Using that capacitor will give you slightly less power but you wont notice the difference....
Chosen Solution Will pics and apps restore after logic board replacement? I can’t say yes or no but it depends on if you have a iTunes or iCloud backup from the previous logic board. When you switch logic boards, the new logic board will not have your pictures or apps or any of your data. The best chances are from your backups if you made any.
Chosen Solution When my phone gets to 60% battery, it suddenly starts searching for service, then the battery dies and the phone shuts off. I only see these cases occur when people over charge the unit. Usually, they leave their phone charging over night and/or they constantly charge their phone despite not being low. Back up the device, and perform a reset. Use Samsung Smart Switch for backing up. Before resetting make sure you know your passwords for google/samsung account....

Chosen Solution Hi all, this question is not only for note 4 but a lot of other brand phones too. when i replace the screen, i also get adhesive sticker. now the problem is, after i replace them, the corner of screen is always lifting, it doesn’t stay stuck to the bezel. is it because i am buying $@$*!& adhesive or am i doing something wrong? i clean the bezel with alcohol before sticking the screen....
