Chosen Solution Hi there, iPad 2 mini was dropped (whilst in a child’s rubber protective bumper case) and although no visible damage on switching on the screen has lines flickering up it rapidly almost like tv intereference. This stops when pressure is applied just above and to the right of the home button, but reoocirs when pressure is released. Is this a digitiser issue? Any help appreciated. Thanks Kendo44 The digitizer usually only affects the touch function, the LCD is what shows picture so it kinda sounds like thats what your having an issue with if the picture is distorted or irregular....

Chosen Solution I am having an issue with the home button wobbling/sliding/sticking after replacing the screen on an iPhone 6s. I read the question ‘iPhone 6S home button “sticking” after screen replacement’, and it similar, but also different. If I tighten the screws on the plate that holds the home button in place, it makes it such that the button won’t depress. So, I loosened the screws and bent it a little and the button will depress, but it wobbles/slides around a bit....

Chosen Solution Hello: I replaced my screen. This is the 4th time the screen has been replaced though only the 2nd time I did it myself. After reassembly, a portion of my screen will not respond to touch. (See portion of screen circled in red for the approximate area that will not work). I ran into only one issue during the screen replacement: While taking out cable#3, I accidentally broke part of white plastic piece that holds the connection in place…....

Chosen Solution Been getting a lot of these recently with F7140 and/or F7141 being blown, so I have pretty much used all fuses from donor boards. These fuses are an odd spec (8A 32V 0603) and I have not managed to get them anywhere. They are also only found on the 15" Retina boards. Anyone know where I can get these from? @reecee that is a bit of a tough one since you are the other side of the ocean....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone I have a rechargable speaker, it has 2 input ports for charging. One of them is 6V DC, and another is 220V AC. The 220V one is only for charge which means I shouldn’t turn the speaker on when it’s connected to 220V, I should let its battery charge and disconnect from 220V then I can turn it on. But it’s okay to turn on the speaker while it’s connected to 6V DC....

Chosen Solution Hello , I bought a 2014 15” MacBook Pro without its SSD. When I boot up with recovery mode it boots up in Maverick OS, and it doesn’t recognize my NVMe SSD which is inside the system. I have tried using an external SSD with Catalina in it, I have later transferred and formatted the NVMe SSD (Internal) and the Mac recognized it but when I boot up it gives me a “question mark” and when I reboot to recovery mode , Maverick OS will not recognize it....

Chosen Solution Old hard drive slowed down over time and broke so I bought a Kingston 480gb SSD and installed it and used internet recovery to reinstall mac OS however when I went to format the SSD it would not show up in the list of drives. I went into terminal and did “diskutil list" and it did not show up there either. I plugged the SSD into a windows PC and formatted it to NTFS because the format was set at “RAW"....

Chosen Solution I was following the “remove heatsink” guide… I removed the bottom case, no problem… but when it was the time to remove the upper 2.4mm T5 torx screw… it stripped and now i cannot remove it! How can i remove that screw? And if this is not enough one of the 3mm pentalobe screw of the bottom stripped too! so what can i do?!? please help me! Sorry for my bad english...

Chosen Solution Same problem, I checked my door switch with meter its OK. Changed my water level switch with new. No change. Replaced my timer with new (ouch) same thing. We have found their is a sweet spot in the permanent press second rinse spin cycle that will make it work. hope this helps. Chosen Solution I just got a nano a week ago and the time stopped automatically changing. It will stay stuck on one time when it is a completely different time. Like it will be 6:00 P.M. and the nano will say 9:00 A.M. The time only updates automatically when connected to wifi by that I mean the time will change still but may not be the right time I hope this makes sense kind of hard to explain tell me if you don’t understand....

Chosen Solution How do you time engine? The mounting flange gasket was bad so I replaced it, while doing so the camshaft fell out i was unsure where the timing mark was. So I rolled the crankshaft timing mark to align with the dot and hobbing hole on the camshaft.I had my thumb over the spark plug hole while pulling on the starter rope. I could feel tdc. Chosen Solution Hello ifixit, I have an iPhone 5c that is getting incredibly hot on the U7 chip as soon as the battery is hooked up. About 5 seconds and it’s too hot to touch. I know I can’t reflow this chip due to the glue underneath of it. My question is, is this chip specific to the phone like the baseband chip? Chosen Solution HI, Recently I’m facing issue with my white MacBook (Early 2008) which is randomly freezing and a message shows that i have to turn off the machine. Sometimes during this freeze the display shows some sticky line or numbers or characters flickering. Best Regards Aryan Often when I see a system freeze up it’s caked up with dust and likely needs to have the thermo paste re-applied. I would start with cleaning if the problem is still persists you may have to reformat the HD and re-install your OS & files (your HD maybe having problems)....

No, the electronic control unit is NOT programmable You should have no issues as the washer resets after it is unplugged.
