Chosen Solution hi guys i have a 5s which had poor battery charge life so i ordered a battery off ebay (same specs as the original) after replacing the battery my phone will switch off if left on charge after it gets to 100% and will only switch back on if i pull it apart and disconnect and reconnect the battery. battery life still isnt great so im guessing poor aftermarket battery but wanted to no if anyone has had the same issues as i havnt come across it before?...

Chosen Solution Before I replaced my headphone jack, it was not working. It sounded very static, also I’m not able to use any in - ear mic for some reason my device won’t detect it. I purchased a headphone jack replacement from ifixit, I replaced the part, and it is still very static. I’m confused as to what to do. Can someone help? You either have a faulty part, or a problem on the logic board....

Chosen Solution So full disclosure here, I have an iPhone 5 16GB and I want to upgrade the HDD to a 32gb. So question time. Is this procedure even possible? Are OEM replacement hard drives available for sale? Thanks for any help on this issue! there is no hard drive in an iphone. it has flash memory and everything is attached to the logic board. i´m not 100% if anybody ever tried, but i hope somebody else can give you a more accurate answer....

Chosen Solution My Samsung rf25hmedbsg is not getting down to temperature i set. Display and lights come on. No error code on Display and its not in demo mode. Unplugged it for a few hours thinking maybe something was iced over but after checking the panels we don’t see any ice. Fan sounds like its on only when doors are closed. Chosen Solution I have a motorola droid that still recieves calls but the screen is completely black so even though i hear text messages comming in i cannot see them. cant do a reset or anything due to nothing shows on the screen..what can be done? It sounds like you are having problems with your proximity sensor. This is what tells your phone that you have that you have it next to your head talking....

Chosen Solution At eye level I can just barely see the back light however over the past few days it has been getting worse. I have had a Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TqWNXZA for roughly 6 months and the glue is coming off. Only thing on the internet I can find is a reddit post from 7 years ago. But the only suggestions on there seem to be superglue, or tape, both seem like less than ideal solutions....

Chosen Solution After 1.5 years back i’ve damaged cord from the screen to monitor while installing SSD this issue suddenly happens to me. Any ideas what this could be and how to fix it? Video and picture attached. Update (04/02/2019) I’ve used tools from Ifixit. But didn’t brought new stretch to keep monitor in safe and that it dropped, glad I’m able to catch it. strange since it last 1,5 years after that accident....

Chosen Solution When i plug my headphones and start music, the sound come from speaker of the phone, i have an ipad, i plug my headphones in and work , and its not an apple headphones, i restart the phone and still dosen t work, what should i do? I would try following: Any other wired headphones - if works, then problem with your headphones. Any bluetooth speaker/headphones - if works, then problem with the audio socket, see guides how to clean it, maybe its just some dust from your pocket....

Chosen Solution Well, my PATA SSD arrived last week and last night I installed it on my Powerbook. BUT, it just won’t boot, no matter what!! Tried to reformat with Disk Utility then install Tiger 10.4.6 which went fine untill restart, then it wouldn’t boot. Tried clone the Tiger disk to it (saw it on the net), but it wouldn’t boot. Tried to use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my HDD to it, but it wouldn’t boot....

Chosen Solution So i got this phone that i will use as my main one for a while. It still has ios 8.1.1, which i think is jailbreakable, but i haven’t checked yet. I’m not sure if i want to update to ios 10 or not. I HATE the press home to unlock on devices with no touch id, and there is no option to change it back to slide to unlock....

Chosen Solution Got an iPhone 6 for repair, was showing no modem firmware and no Imei after the 06 dial test. Done monkey see monkey do, jumped 2 pins, reballed baseband and got half of the problem solved. Now it shows modem firmware and IMEI number is listed in iPhone Info, however the *#06 # test dial keeps not showing IMEI and phone still stuck on searching. SIM is correctly detected when inserted and NO SIM warning prompts as it should....

Chosen Solution My jeep was recently broken into and I just got it back from repair. My stereo will no longer connect to my Samsung Galaxy S8 to play music but will still play calls. To listen to music I select “BT” and that option won’t even appear on my radio, only AUX and RADIO. Music won’t even play off my phone speakers when I have the blue tooth connected. I’ve tried turning both devices on and off and deleting the device and re pairing it to the radio....

Chosen Solution So I have just rebuilt a rather bashed up iPhone 5s using one of those iPhone 6 mini housings and I have a strange problem. When I test everything with the screen slightly lifted out of the chassis the touch screen works perfectly however when I clip the touch screen into the housing a couple of areas of the touch screen stop responding, in portrait mode the area around the “e” key on the pop up keyboard stops responding I get an r or w when attempting e, also the area where you swipe to power off goes unresponsive....

Chosen Solution Hi, Was hoping to replace/update WIFI card of my Mac Pro Early 2008 (3,1). Screws were to tight and managed to strip both screws holding (original) card in place…. Tried the rubber band method, Gorilla Glue (it won’t stick) all with no luck… need to remove screws. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Chosen Solution This 2012 13”retina 2.5 unit randomly shuts off at very infrequent intervals. So far I removed the dust out of the fins, replaced the thermal paste, ran the SSD first aid utilities, removed ‘,mac cleaner” and and ran “heaven” to stress the GPU. It promptly panicked the first time,= I ran Heaven, then I did the thermal repairs, and then it nearly completed Heaven, but did shut down in again the last few seconds....

Chosen Solution I own 2 RS210 II units. Both cradles are not working. No lights and no recharging of headphones. Possible for both power cords defective? Hi @gabriele88 , If there is no green light on the cradle then there may be a problem with the adapter or the charger base (or the power outlet) If there is a green light but no red light then this link may be of some help....

Chosen Solution I have a Hitachi 42HDS69 Plasma TV. The unit will not always respond to the IR. (will not always turn on). I can usually turn off, and on, the Master off switch to make the unit operate. There are no other problems. Can anyone tell me if I can just replace the power supply to eliminate this issue? Is there a dedicated IR board that I can replace? I’d appreciate any help....

Chosen Solution replace CMOS RTC Battery 5205-S703. How to access it? A Google search for toshiba satellite 5205-S703 disassembly shows up various videos and disassembly guides. You may have to scan through 2 or 3 to find exactly what you want, but it’s almost certain to be there.

Chosen Solution I installed the new display on my iPod Video. After install the display lights up but it is blank. Do not understand as when the broken display was in place the unit still worked, it just had a leaflike design through it. I can hear the drive firing up but no display. bwalls, the last time I had this, it was caused by a bad connection on the logic board....
